2022 3Music Awards: KiDi wins Artiste of the Year
Lynx Entertainment signee, KiDi has for the second time emerged the Artiste of the year at the 2022 3Music awards which was held in Accra on Saturday.
He won from the same category last year and has kept his mantra in this year’s edition.
The award was held under the theme: “More Than Music,” to recognise musical accomplishments in multiple categories including Afropop, hiplife, hip hop, gospel and alternative.
“More Than Music,” according to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 3Media Networks, Sadiq Abdulai Abu was an upgrade on the famed 3Music Awards mantra, adding that “Here for the Music, and aptly encapsulates the elevation in both the standards and make-up of the event this year.”
“This year, there will be more segments, more awards, more inclusivity and wider reach. We are putting the spotlight on music and all other auxiliaries that facilitate and enable the success of the art form.”
