5th 3Music Awards: Organisers suffer criticism over break in transmission

As the much anticipated awards show, dubbed “3Music Awards” kicks off today at the Grand Arena in Accra many viewers are left heartbroken due to the almost two-and-half-hour break in transmission.

Many attributed the distort to technical difficulty, however, others bare their teeth on the organisers for poor management skills.

The award which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 26 at 6:30 pm started off with a red carpets around 9:00pm and breaks off around 9:40pm.

Viewers who were watching on TV3 got bored when the live event was cut off and replaced with “Music Music”, an entertainment programme hosts by the station.

However, the live telecast of the event returned at 11:56pm after the almost two-and-half-hour hiatus break with a performance from Fast rising drill artiste, Black Sherif.

Around the time many interested viewers already braced their bed. This is the first time such difficulty had characterised the award event.

3Music Awards is a flagship awards event organised to celebrate and honour industrial giants, musicians and stakeholders in the creative art industry.
