Adom Tv coward whipped by the whim of the ‘Mother Serpent of corruption’—Sammy Gyamfi shoots
The National Communications Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has described management of Adom Television as coward who are deceiving the public from knowing President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s corrupt act.
According to him, management of the station was whipped to pander to the whim of the president who is the “Mother Serpent of corruption.”
In a post on his social media page after management of Adom Tv apologised and explained that the contents as aired did not represent the full story, stressing that the video was the then candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo who in October 2016 receiving a donation of $40,000 to facilitate his political campaign.
“Yesterday 1st December 2020, Adom TV aired a video allegedly of the President receiving a bribe of $40,000.00 which was shown during airtime bought by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).”
“Adom TV unreservedly apologises for any harm or embarrassment the video may have caused the President and admits that the publication was in error,” management said.
However, Mr Gyamfi noted that the act of management of the station was a deception and shameful, smacks of double-standards and odious hypocrisy.
“This shameful act smacks of double-standards and odious hypocrisy on the part of the management of the station, who have been whipped to pander to the whim of the Mother Serpent of corruption,” he said.
Mr Gyamfi indicated that the alleged Bribery video which was aired on Tuesday edition of “Nokware Mere” was true that the president was caught pants down taking a bribe of $40,000.
“Folks, the notice of apology released by the management of Adom Tv in connection with the airing of a video tape in which president Akufo-Addo is caught pants down taking a bribe of $40,000 on yesterday’s edition of “Nokware Mere,” is nothing but an act of cowardice and deception,” he added.
The whole statement, he observed was complete balderdash and should be treated with the contempt it deserves.
Meanwhile the Minister of Communication, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has stated that the video was a fake News attempt dead on arrival.
