American pop star, Pink slams US Government for its inability to make COVID-19 test kits available

Multi award winning pop star, Pink has slammed the United States government for its inability to make test kits available in all the states of America for  people to test when experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

According to her, the virus was real and could affect the young, aged, healthy, unhealthy, rich and the poor, thus underscored the need for the government to make test kits accessible for all.

In a post on her social media handle on Friday, the “give me reason” hit maker bemoaned that she and her three year old son within couple of weeks ago tested positive for COVID-19 and through the quality health attention given to her by her family doctor she recovered together with her son.

“My family was already sheltering at home and continued to do so for the last two weeks following the instruction of our doctor. Just a few days ago, we were re-tested and are now thankfully negative,” she said.

Pink suggested that due to the nature of the virus testing should be made free and more readily to protect children, families, friends and communities.

To help the process, she donated $1 million to support health care workers in Pennsylvania and Los Angeles for the good job they were doing in keeping lives.

Pink also commended all health practitioners across the globe for the excellent jobs they were doing, she said they were the real heroes and demanded everyone to stay home in the few weeks ahead in order to stay safe.

The ‘Trouble’ hit maker who is known in real life as Alecia Moore has joined other celebrities including Idris Elba, Daniel Dae Kim, and Sara Bareilles among other stars who had given the all-clear story after testing positive for COVID-19.
