An aggrieved man broke into mortuary to s3x his dead coronavirus lover

A vile man identified as Leroy Chacon has been jailed for three years for sleeping with a corpse who died from novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

According to report, the culprit broke into a mortuary at Kaituma in South America to carry out the attack and was sentenced on Wednesday to three years imprisonment.

He was charged on Tuesday for trespassing with the intent to commit a $3xual offence on a defenseless woman who died from COVID-19.

The 50-year-old man of Trainline Port Kaituma, North West District appeared at the Matthews Ridge Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Delon Bess via zoom and pleaded guilty to the offence.

He was remanded to prison and on Wednesday reappeared before court at 9am for sentencing.

Chacon was placed in quarantine under police guard from Guyana on last Saturday after he was caught performing the indecent act on the corpse of a 56-year-old woman who died on September 21 after displaying COVID-19 symptoms.

A COVID-19 test later confirmed that she tested positive for the disease, hence died from the deadly respiratory ailment.

The woman’s body was being stored at Port Kaituma Mortuary when Chacon visited the mortuary at about 07:45h and  performed the indecent act on the body.

The incident was reported to the Police and he was arrested before he was found guilty and sentenced for three years imprisonment.
