Becca’s mother, Julie Yiadom-Oti dies after short illness
Afro beat and highlife musician Rebecca Akosua Acheampong known by her stage name Becca has lost her mother, Julie Yiadom-Oti on Thursday in London in the United Kingdom (UK).
Ms Yiadom-Oti died after a short illness which report has not confirmed the actual illness.

Before her death, she was in the news after she accused Becca’s husband, Dr Tobi Sannni Daniel, of creating a space between her daughter and herself when they tied the knot few years ago.
The biological mother of Becca again said among other things that the manager married Becca for money and not for love and expressed regret that her daughter tied herself in such knot.

A family member who disclosed the late Ms Yiadom-Oti’s death said she recently fell sick and died upon admission in an undisclosed hospital in London.
Becca is yet to make an official statement concerning the demise of her mother.
Meanwhile, when Becca was asked about her relationship with her biological mother on Hitz FM on July 5, 2019, she admitted they had issues but promised to have each of them resolved.
