Black Sherif gains debut nomination in the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards
Rapper Black Sherif has gained a debut global nomination in the 2022 edition of the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Hip Hop Awards.
He was nominated for the Best International Flow category and he is logging horns with UK’s Knucks, South Africa’s Blxckie and France’s Benjamin Epps.
Others in the stiff competition for the coveted award include Le Juice from France, Central Cee from the UK, Nadia Nakai from Zimbabwe, Tasha and Tracie from Brazil and Haviah Mighty from Canada.
Black Sherif was the only Ghanaian nominated for the 2022 edition of the Awards.
Meanwhile, Sarkodie was the first Ghanaian to be nominated in the Best International Flow category since it’s inception.
He won the award in 2019.
The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards is scheduled to take place on September 30, 2022, at Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta.
The BET Awards is an American award show that was established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to celebrate black entertainers and other minorities in music, film, sports and philanthropy.
The awards, which are presented annually, are broadcast live on BET.
