Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 715 Lily and Hipolito face off in a heated debate, Mariano hits by another scandal
The political debate was ongoing between Lily and Hipolito. It was a hot face-off as Hipolito outlined measures he would put in place to safeguard the economy by increasing local production and to uphold terrorists like Cardo and the Taskforce to combat crimes, Lily projected Hipolito as a criminal and would rather misuse the country’s natural resources for his own gains.
Hipolito found her words as preposterous since he was exonerated from all his crimes and was not even prosecuted in the first place. Besides, Lily’s husband sought his counsel to run the economy and had no doubt that Lily was presently manipulating her husband against him that was the reason she was running for the president.
On her part, Lily pledged to continue the good works of her husband to run the economy and to solidify partnerships with foreign countries to bridge trade ties and to foster uniformity. She accused Hipolito of doing little to capture Cardo when he was the Director of the national defense agency.
Hipolito interjected that he did everything to bring down crimes and terrorism. It was his era that The Bloody Sun was dissolved and Lily’s husband was the one who protected Cardo and was working in cohort with Cardo and brought him back to the force.
Lily was feeling intimidated and she declared that her husband was manipulated and lied to by Cardo. Hipolito then said he was not to be blamed, if Lily and her husband protected Cardo. Lily said once she won the elections, she needed only six months and she would capture Cardo. She even swore to resign if she was unable to deliver.
Elsewhere, Cardo and the Taskforce together with Armando and his group who were watching the debate were really moved by the fiction between the two criminals who were parading themselves as the nation’s hope.
They were moved by the words of Hipolito who claimed to combat crimes whilst he was the real criminal. They were even amused when Lily was juxtaposing Hipolito. But, that was where they thought Lily and Hipolito were wrong to think they would get rid of him and the Taskforce.
Cardo told Armando that they needed his help to bring the criminals who were power hunters down. Cardo said they had to ensure the nation would work in line with them to subdue the threats of Hipolito and Lily.
Lily was asked about morality and she thought Hipolito was the one who had made them ask such a question. She became impatient and pissed off. Hipolito insisted on her to talk first since her beloved husband was the one whose bedroom tape had gone viral.
Lily said she would ensure the nation upheld morality. Hipolito made an impressive statement concerning morality and he attracted a clap and standing ovation. Lily got upset that she answered the question smartly but was not praised and saw that they were ganging up on her.
Arturo drew closer to Mariano to threaten him for abusing his estranged wife. Mariano claimed that he was dating Ellen and due to their affair, Arturo ended things with his wife but Arturo reminded Mariano that Ellen was still his wife. He threatened the fake president that he wouldn’t like what he would do to him.
Oscar and Sebastian wondered where Ambo and Elizabeth went. They were about to search for them when the two barged in with information about the face-off debate between Hipolito and Lily. They were concerned with how the two criminals were projecting themselves as good people while projecting Cardo as the terrorist who was destroying the country.
They switched on their radio set to listen to the debate. The comrades of Cardo who took a stroll came in and Delfin told them that they were late to watch Lily and Hipolito’s debate. The guys did not even see the need for them to watch since they would not vote.
Delfin saw them as the problem of the country because they did not care about the country and who to lead. He told them to clean the place to make themselves useful rather than gallivanting around as if they were on holidays.
Armando told his squad that thwy would help Cardo’s group to capture the president. He saw Samuel quiet and questioned him if he was opposing his orders. On the contrary, Samuel said he was not and suggested they called out the rest of their members who were out to join them.
Armando said that could hold on till they mapped out the plan to capture the President. After the debate was over, they were leaving when Lily believed Marie was paid by Hipolito to make her appear bad. Cassandra also thought so too.
Mariano was by-passing when Arturo threatened to k!ll him and Lily once Hipolito wins the presidential election. Mariano was provoked and threw the first punch but Arturo was quick to swerve. The journalists were able to capture.
The security stopped the journalists and sent them away to salvage the situation. Hipolito and Lily intervened to stop the fight. Lily got upset with Mariano and confronted him when they got to the room. She knew throwing the first punch would lead to a scandal.
Hipolito was also not happy with Arturo. Arturo said they could turn everything to their advantage by spinning the truth to their side to project the
President as totally hot head, completely reckless and violent.
The video went viral and the citizens even described the president as hot headed to be punching an old man like Arturo. The media trouped the palace for an interview. Mariano was called for an interview but Lily had to give him a perfect script to turn everything in their favour.
Arturo had his interview first and as he planned with Hipolito, he projected the president as violent who might rule should his wife be voted for. He left the country with the question whether, they would vote for a violent person like the president?
After speaking with Vice President Avilia to cement his victory campaign, Hipolito watched Arturo’s interview and had no doubts about choosing Arturo as his Vice. He was impressed by Arturo’s speech and charisma which he claimed
balanced his tough guy image.
He knew Arturo was like him and might fight him for the presidential seat once he won, but he also had his plans in mind to challenge Arturo when that time approached.
Arturo came in and Hipolito congratulated him for the job well done. He noted that Arturo’s speech was a k!ller shõt to eliminate Lily from the presidential race. However, a phone call he received made him eat his words.
Mariano was granting an interview and he had said Padua disrespected his wife and had no option than to defend his wife and the nation as well. He said he saw Arturo and Hipolito as friends despite going against his wife’s bid.
He still allowed them to remain in the office while they had to descend the power to the ones who had taken charge after their resignation. However, the two conspired against him and his wife. To avoid trouble, he said he wanted them out of the office.
Hipolito felt defeated when Mariano nade tgat public statement. He began blaming Arturo. Arturo said it was constitutional for them to leave the presidential office after filing for the presidential position so now they had to do it.
Hipolito got upset and planned to deliver the final shot to Lily and Mariano for what they had done because he would not allow to be kicked out from the palace.
