Celestine Donkor opens audition for ‘Celestial Twinkle Star’ contest for kids
Multiple Award winning Gospel Singer, Celestine Donkor together with her management is set to roll out a singing reality show to unleash the potentials of children between the ages of seven and 12 in boosting the gospel industry.
Dubbed: “Celestial Twinkle Star” Contest, it will kick-start on October 1, 2022 by the Celestine Donkor Ministries.
Speaking in an interview with SpotOnNews in Accra yesterday, Celestine Donkor said the reality show was her token to whip the interest of people to acknowledge the gospel fraternity while setting investors’ minds into the industry.
She said the Celestial Twinkle Star Contest was also to hone and develop talent of children and to shift the next generations interest in God.
“As the Bible said allow the children to come unto me for theirs is the kingdom of God,” Celestine Donkor added.
She stated that “for 13 weeks the children will go through singing contest” and urged parent whose children fell within those ages to encourage them to participate fully in the event.
“The audition for the contest will be held on October 1, 2022 at the Oheyza Studios at Mallam in Accra,” Celestine Donkor said.
The competition, she said would be streamed on her YouTube channel, Celestial TV and the children who would excel would be mentored by the musician, adding that “the ultimate winner will get a collaboration with Celestine Donkor and an unnamed African gospel artiste.”

The musician indicated that this was a debut event of a sort in the industry and was a way to spread the word of God through children while drawing them closer to the kingdom of God.
