Coronavirus amend court cases as judges and staff test positive

The novel Coronavirus disease has mend cases in various courts of the country as many Judges and staff allegedly tested positive for the  disease.

According to information gathered by the Herald Newspaper, a National Democratic Congress (NDC) owned print media suggested that some Senior judges have contracted the virus.

The paper stated some of the senior judges and their staff were on isolation and receiving treatment in an undisclosed Hospital.

It further indicated that there were series of the COVID-19 tests at the superior courts including the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, during which some tested positive for the virus.

“Additional information available to this paper is that some courtrooms and offices located within the law complex building in Accra, have been closed,” the paper added.
