Court charges teenagers of ritual killing with murder: case adjourns to May 4. Kasoa ritual killing: State charges 2 teenage suspects with murder
Ofankor District Court on Tuesday charged two teenagers who allegedly killed a 10-year-old boy at Kasoa in the Central region for money ritual with murder.
The prosecutors handling the case said they need more time to determine the actual age of the suspects.
They, therefore, urged the court to remand the teenagers into police custody as their investigations continue.
This was granted by the court presided over by Samuel Kwesi Adjei who remanded the accused persons into police custody.
Samed Akalilu, the spokesperson for the family of the murdered boy, wants the police to conclude investigations immediately to enable the trial to commence.
The case has been adjourned to May 4 for continuation.
