COVID-19, a scam used by politicians to tame the world—Mr Ibu

Nigerian comedian, John Okafor popularly known in the industry as Mr Ibu has stated that coronavirus is a scam and a strategy used by politicians to tame the world.

According to him, Nigeria has not recorded the deadly respiratory ailment and alleged that it is an agenda by the politicians to put fear in people.

Speaking in a media interview in Nigeria as monitored by Spot On News, Mr Ibu said the politicians were using the virus to achieve their selfish political agenda.

He maintained that the leaders of Nigeria should not have involved themselves in that evil agenda.

“Nigeria, we are not supposed to be involved in this COVID-19, I see no reason why we should be involved. Only Nigerians in diaspora will have to partake in this devilish program.

We at home are oblivious, we are not supposed to be involved in any ceremony in trying to pretend or in trying to avoid. My brother, COVID-19 or 20 is not here, I don’t care,” he said.

Mr Ibu indicated that COVID-19 could not strive in heat so the virus would have died if it was true that China had infected the world with it.

“Why would China give us sickness and America embellish the technicality and then sell it to the world and people now begin to die when they know it is deadly. Thank God we have hot weather, the thing self dey fear us,” he added.

Touching on the death toll, the award winning actor noted no one had died from the virus and there was nothing to update them on the number of positive cases.

He maintained that no one could confirm to anyone that he or she knew one of those infected by the virus and urged the politicians to stop deceiving the world especially Nigerians in order for them to go on with their normal routine to develop the economy.

“You know anybody?

Have you ever attended any burial and they say na this thing kill am? have you ever gone to the hospital them say this person na Covid dey hold am? have you ever seen a family them say somebody na Covid na em kill am yesterday for family wey you know? You cannot, dem say dem say na em me and you dey hear. Even the sickness dey fear us,” Mr Ibu added.

He charged those who believe in the existence of the ailment to show a picture of those who have been infected and eventually die from the ailment.

“It has affected so many industries in the country, it has driven us away from work because of the lies and gossip leading us to hunger,” Mr Ibu said.
