Diana Asamoah to face the law if she access digital page— Former Executive Producer warns

Gospel singer, Diana Asamoah has been denied access to her official digital and social media platforms following a breach of contract with her executive producer, Frimprince after 20years of working relationship.

According to a statement issued in August 4, 2022, in Accra by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Frimprince Music Productions, Emmanuel Anane Frimpong, he has terminated his contract with Diana Asamoah and the latter had no right to refer to him as her executive producer.

The statement indicated that the “Akoko abon” hitmaker did not have right over the songs which were produced under the former production, hence Frimprince would continue to have absolute rights over all the songs that were produced under the production including “Pentecost Gya”, “Mabowodin”, “Madansidie,” “Momomme” and “Tetelesta.”

“Failure to comply with these terms may result in legal action,” the statement added.

The statement said the termination was as a result of several breaches of contract and verbal disagreement.

“Frimprince production has been working with you by producing and marketing all your songs since the year 2000. Following several breaches, verbal agreement to work together, the management of Frimprince production has decided to terminate the contract between Diana Asamoah and Frimprince production,” it said.

Frimprince Music Productions also announced that it would no longer be part of the musician’s annual gospel concert, “Abba Father” and she would also lose access to all the digital pages of the music production company, including her verified Facebook page bearing the name “Evangelist Diana Asamoah.”
