DJ Decordha of ‘Wedding Day’ fame dies

One of the “Wedding Day” music duo, Agudey known in the showbiz industry as DJ Decordha who became widely known through a wedding outfit which he wore to the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) has died after a short illness.

According to information gathered by SpotOnNews, the musician died yesterday after he allegedly succumbed to cancer.

Friends who were eulogising him on social media described him as talented and did not deserve to die especially around this time.

“Such talented Dude Agudey Like you kept saying we’re born to live and die so we shouldn’t be afraid of death but the thought of not seeing you again breaks my heart I wanna say you gave up on us but I know you had no other choice you fought hard we thought it all over then death took over the pain still we will put sekondi on the world map,” Prince Manuel Nkyira Baidoo wrote.

Another stated that they had plans which they were working to bring to fruition but he could not live for them to actualised it.

“Rest well bro you fought well Agudey you will forever be in our hearts we had lot of plans but death has taken it from us,” they added.

About DJ Decordha

Dj Decordha was a Ghanaian/Liberian Disc Jockey, singer and rapper who worked closely with Mc Dementor and formed a musical group called Wedding Day.

Mc Dementor on the other hand is a Colombian Dj, rapper and singer

About Wedding Day Group

Mc Dementor and Dj Decordha were a interracial music duo who have been working together since 2011.

They got introduced to each other by a Colombian music promoter and a&r who was at the time distributing music for both artistes in the United States of America and other Latin American countries.

The two were later made to collaborate on the remix of a top charting Colombian rap song, King Kong by Mc Dementor.

They thereafter became good friends and worked on several projects later their notable works included starz life featuring soulja boy,
Tinkin Tal featuring Nastou, Donald trump featuring Rasta Rasta Mario, Lies Become Truth an Extended Play (EP) album released in 2018 and released I Cry featuring Kobby Major, Thank God For Life featuring Ooz, Adam and Eve ft Kofi Mole in 2019.

The duo in 2020 were done with their first studio album which ranges from sounds of different genres such as Rock, Dancehall, Rhythm and Blues (RnB), African Blues, conscious rap, Champetta and reggaeton and featured various top artistes in the globe.
