Don’t enter studios with women— Hammer warns
Popular music producer, Edward Nana Poku Osei, known as Hammer has cautioned musicians against sending women to the studios while going to record a song.
He said the act deviate musicians from the purpose in the studios and they lose focus during the recording process.
Hammer made this known in an interview with the media.
He said musicians had to always have their crafts in mind and act like a student when they hit the studios for recordings.
He noted that many could not mellow themselves or adopt a student’s mindset to move by the producers’ directions since a woman is keeping them company.
Hammer frowned on such acts as a producer, stressing that his pursuit of perfection, and attention for details are the factors contributing to the finesse of the songs he produces.
“I am a very detailed person. One thing everybody knows about me is ‘Don’t bring a girl to the studio,’ because when you come to my studio, you are a student.”
“If you bring a girl to the studio to impress her and you’re not careful, I will check you like you’re a student and I won’t care whether or not there’s a girl there. So if you don’t want to be embarrassed, don’t bring anybody,” he stated.
