We need to build Bullet a statue—-Wendy Shay appeals to govt
The boss of Shay Gang, Wendy Shay has appealed to government to build a statue of the label owner of Rufftown records, Ricky Nana Agyemang popularly known as Bullet.
According to her, Bullet is the only label owner in Ghana who has written hit songs after hit songs.
Applauding Bullet on her Twitter page, Wendy Shay noted that it was not an easy task for a person to be writing hit tracks all the time.
She expressed the need for government to recognise the effort of such person to serve as an idol for those in the creative industry.
“Bullet is the only record label Boss who has written hits upon hits for himself (ruff n smooth ) and for Great artistes,” she added.

The “kut it” hitmaker said undoubtedly Bullet was the Best songwriter of “our” time, stressing that “we need to build him a statue.”
She urged Ghana to wake up and recognise Bullet now not when he is no more.
Wendy Shay urged female young artistes who came after Ebony to pay homage to her for the contributions she made in Ghana music.
She observed her efforts in the industry shed light on to many female musicians including herself.
“All the female artiste that came after Ebony including myself, should be thankful to her because her career shed light upon the female fraternity and made people pay attention to us, Wendy Shay added.

She also urged the country to also build a statue of her to serve as an idol for women in the industry.
