Speaking at the event, Sarkodie indicated that the party would see performances from Mr. Drew, Yaw Tog, Camidoh, Amerado Burner, Jackie, Sefa among other great artistes in the country.

That, he said would enable them gain bigger platforms to showcase their talent.

Sarkodie stated the musicians billed to perform were given the platform due to their unique form of composing songs and pledged his commitment in working to add a new twist to the upcoming event.

Having had an experience with ‘Party in the Park’ in the past years, the musician pledged to contribute his quota in making the programme a success.

“I came on board not just because I am Sarkodie and I want to perform. I don’t think that will be a big deal. I have been working with the organisers for a while, and I know that me being in the industry for a very long time means that there’s a little touch we can add, especially when it has to do with the artistes, he said.

As the creative director, the “Special Someone” hitmaker would among other things be responsible for the overall artistic direction of the festival while putting together performances.
