I am in love with Kuami Eugene’s music and personality—Rozzy Sokota

Budding Sierra Leonean musician, Rozzy Sokota has complemented Ghana’s highlife musician, Kuami Eugene, saying she is in love with his music and personality.

According to her, Kuami Eugene is an artiste who understands what he does and is well talented, hence why she is in love with him.

Speaking in an interview with the media in Accra on Tuesday as part of her tour to promote her album, Rozzy Sokota indicated that apart from his music, “I love his personality.”

She explained that Kuami Eugen was easy to be connected with.

“He understands what he is doing and he is selfless,” Rozzy Sokota added.

She stated that the time she was recording her “Silence” song she wanted something different so she got in touched with the “Dollar on You” hitmaker and she did a massive job on it.

“When I gave him my verse, I was surprised to hear him say that he has done his recording. He sent it to me and I said I needed a singer and he said he is a singer and I said that was a rapper. In fact he nailed the song,” Rozzy Sokota added.

The  talented Sierra Leonean singer and songwriter recently released  her much anticipated single “Silence” featuring Ghana’s most vibrant high life artiste, Kuami Eugene.

It comes off Rozzy Sokota’s yet-to-be-released album christened “SokotaVybe”.

The song which was released a week ago came alongside with its visuals.

The song was recorded in Ghana and the beautiful songstress said it marked the new direction of her music as a result of partnership with Dream Wide Music to restructure her career.

The song according to her resulted from her experiment to explore the different sounds of Africa in order to meet the demand of most music lovers across the globe.
