I saw NDC’s petition burnt into ashes in supreme Court— Rev Owusu Bempah
The founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry, Apostle Isaac Owusu Bempah has called on the leaders of National Democratic Congress (NDC) to withdraw their petition about the 2020 elections which is in the Supreme Court.
According to him, the case will not yield result as the President elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo genuinely won the elections.
The NDC three days ago sent their petition to the Supreme Court to express their grievances about the declaration by the Electoral Commission concerning the December 7 elections.
The party claimed that the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) did not get the exact percentage that would make him win the election, thus requested for runoff elections .
“The claim that the 2nd respondent was 51.595 % of the total valid votes that she herself distinctly stated to have been 13,434, 574 was a manifest error as vote cast for 2nd respondent would amount to 50.098% and not the 51.595% erroneously declared,” the petition read.
The NDC also claimed that the NPP would have 49. 625% of the total vote cast if the the EC gives the entire votes of the Techiman South to the NDC, while they will get 46.768%
Speaking during the December 31, 2020 all night service held at his church, Reverend Owusu Bempah explained that God revealed to him that the NDC will lose their case.
He said the party would lose money and they would regret ever filing for the petition, hence his advice.
Rev Owusu Bempah stated that he saw the petition which was in court gutted by fire and was burnt into ashes.
“God opened my eyes, I saw supreme Court building and I was inside it. All of a sudden I saw a paper with the name NDC written on and it was hovering around the court room. Later I saw a fire gutted the paper and it burnt into ashes,” he revealed.
Rev Owusu Bempah advised the NDC to forget about the elections and focus on how they would go about with their party, stressing that the party would express regret for wasting resources and time for sending their petition to court.
He also indicated that God revealed to him that President Akufo-Addo was the President God has ordained to lead the country and nothing would change his (God) mind from protecting the reign of the President elect.
“President Akufo-Addo is the child I have ordained to rule the country and if Ghanaians had not voted for him, l would have sen t my angels to vote for him. That said the Lord, so the NDC is just wasting their time. For once I will urge the NDC to listen to me and withdraw their petition because they will regret ever taking that decision. They will conspire among themselves that they have regretted sending the issue to court,” Prophet Owusu Bempah said.
He also cautioned the two political parties (NDC and NPP) to pray for their leaders as some prominent ones including finance ministers, and a former President might die in 2021.
