I will sue ‘Papa no’ if NDC carries on with the GH¢1million lawsuit—Akua Donkor
Founder and leader of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor has promised to sue the former president, John Dramani Mahama and his party member, Mary Awusi if they pursue the GH¢1million lawsuit against her.
She remains in her stance that former President John Dramani Mahama is the “papa no” and there was nothing they could do to change the fact.
According to her, she has not received any summon and would never be served with one, stressing that she has evidence for all her claims.
Speaking in a media interview, Madam Donkor explained that the ex-President in the 2016 elections engaged himself with countless number of women which actress, Tracey Boakye and musician Mzbel were part.
She revealed that Mahama was the centre for the fight between the two renowned women and has prove for every allegations she publicly make.
Madam Donkor asserted that the former President during the 2016 campaign period, met a number of women which she is convinced are his partners.
“I haven’t received any document from the court. Mahama has a lot of girlfriends, I know all of them. Mahama is the papa no and it is the truth. During the 2016 elections, I saw them. There is nothing surprising about it because he is the one,” she added.
Madam Donkor who claimed her statements were backed with evidence stated that she would sue the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party if they carry on with their lawsuit.
“If they have sued me, I will also sue him. He has two kids with another woman. He bought a house for her at Tema. No one will tell me otherwise. We will release the videos and audios from that woman. Something must be wrong with him for him to sue me,” she added.
Madam Donkor and Wontumi Communications Limited are the subjects of a defamation suit by one Mary Awusi who argued that some comments by the GFP leader have dented the image of John Dramani Mahama and her.
The plaintiff in her suit, appealed to the court to impose a GH¢1million charge on the defendants and also order them to retract and apologise for the libelous and defamatory comments.
