Ghana’s female dancehall art Kaakie has become the first musician to spark the new year with a beautiful marriage ceremony.
According to reports Grace Kaki Awo Ocansey, known in Showbiz circus as Kaakie got married to her long time boyfriend who is known to some people as Kwesi, with nickname spider from Achimota Senior High School.
Over a week ago, photos of her bridal shower popped up and went viral on social media.
However, Kaakie’s marriage is now official, with a video showing the singer dancing with her husband during their traditional and white wedding.
The wedding which was held on Saturday at the Christ The King Methodist, located around East Legon in Accra saw the attendance of her family members, fans and loved ones.
The High Grade Family record signee has been off the music scene for some years now.
It is believed that she travelled to the United Kingdom (UK) to pursue higher education in nursing at the Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
