KiDi breaks Billboard Chart with ‘Touch It’

Lynx Entertainment signee, Dennis Dwamena, known in showbiz circles as KiDi, has made it to the billboard again with his hit single “Touch It.”

The song which is from his “Golden Boy” album made it to the Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales at Number 20.

This has made the “Golden boy” hitmaker achieve multiple feats in his career following his debut entry with “Say cheese” in the billboard in the year 2020.

According to a statistics released on September 7 by Charts Ghana indicated that KiDi had same hit single charting in many countries including United Arab Emirates (UAE), Uganda, Kenya and India.

The report further stated that Touch It was competing effectively with songs on music charts in other countries such as Honduras, Panama, Netherlands and New Zealand.

This new achievement has enhanced the artiste’s pedestal to a higher level and has made him more of a force to reckon with in the music industry.

Meanwhile, the celebrated musician early this year signed a new “Game Changing Partnership” deal with two international distribution labels, Made In Eastern New York (MadeInENY) a multimedia music publishing and entertainment company, and Empire, an American distribution company, publishing and record label.

The reputable entertainment companies in partnership with Lynx Entertainment had mandate to help the “say cheese” hitmaker advertise his craft outside the country.

Following his achievements, the musician in an exclusive interview explained that “Touch It” was inspired by his vision of getting the world entertained with quality music and a soothing sound.

“So I set out to make a song to make the whole world happy. I didn’t envision the song doing all what it’s doing right now. I knew it was going to be successful, somehow I’m just so humbled by everything happening with the song around the world and what it’s doing for me. I’m just so grateful.”

Talking about the thought behind the song, he said, “I wanted to do a song that would get people moving their bodies when they hear the song. The moment you hear the song, you couldn’t sit still, you had to do something, you had to make an action or move your body someway somehow.”

The 28 years multiple award winning musician indicated that he took his cues from international musicians like Chris Brown, Bruno Mars and Usher Raymond.
