Lost Hearts (Pusong Ligaw) Episode 51 Melchor’s death raises eyebrows

As Didith was being calmed by Potpot, she received a call from the hospital. Jaime in his car nodded after receiving information from a call he was making.

At the morgue, Policarpios discovered that Melchor was dead. The family cried, Potpot recalled all the good times he shared with Melchor and his last words to him.

Gabriela later joined them to mourn. The police asked the family if Melchor had enemies, Potpot said he never did, his dad was a good person. Didith seconded and Gabriela charged the police to bring the culprit to book.

Marga showed the pregnancy test kit to Caloy and the latter was happy that Marga was pregnant. Marga asked him to get married to her, even if it was civil wedding she would be glad. She wanted Caloy and her to raise the child together.

A funeral was held for Melchor. Melai wondered the person who could have committed such atrocious crime against her father.

The Laurels were having dinner when Rafa run to inform them about the tragic incident.
“Mom, dad something terrible happened, Potpot’s father was murdered!”

“What!” Tessa exclaimed.

Alice called Marga to inform her about Potpot’s dad incident. She began to throw up after remembering Jaime saying Melchor was the only person who knew about the real identity of Tessa and Caloy’s son.

Caloy followed her to the washroom and she said it was morning sickness and it was normal with pregnant women. Caloy asked her to go in and rest.

The police told the bereaved family that where they found the body was a destructible place and he might have been unlucky. Didith was upset that the police was claiming it was an accident. She said she knew nothing could bring her husband back but she did not only lose her husband, her children also lost their father and wanted justice to be served.

The Police then assured that they were not done with their investigation.

Marga later tried calling the psycho but he did not pick. Marga suddenly collapsed and Asya saw her. He shouted for help. Caloy and the doctor together with Asya were in the room after the doctor checked on Marga, she explained that Marga was pregnant and her cardiovascular system passed through traumatic changes, her heart race also increased heavily, hence the reason she fainted.

Caloy asked what they could do to prevent such episode and the doctor said she did not have to be stressed out and had to be bedridden, due to her age she might suffer miscarriage. Later, Caloy saw Marga’s phone on the bed and he took it only to find out that she had called Jaime.

Didith asked Gabriela of Melai and she said she was with Guada. She hoped soon they would get answers to their questions. Gabriela asked what if their investigation revealed a secret that they did not have to know.

When Marga woke up, Caloy asked her about it and she lied that she did a mistake by calling the psycho. She was rather calling Potpot as he lost his dad. Caloy felt sad for the boy and told Marga to rest. The doctor has said her pregnancy was delicate one so she had to be bedridden.

Vida consoled Potpot and said she would get through it but the latter believed he could not get through it. Potpot insisted that his father was a good person and did not deserve such a death.

“I am going to find the person who did this to my father and I will stop at nothing till I find the person.”

Tessa and her family arrived at the funeral to mourn with the bereaved family. She assured them that she was there for them and should call anytime they needed help.

Rafa extended his condolences to Potpot. Jaime availed his face. Tessa told Didith that they knew of few police officers and they would help in finding the culprit so that justice would be served.

Didith recalled the investigation into Rafael’s case and she suddenly stood and told Tessa that she would be back. She went to see the police to inform him that the death of Melchor could be linked to Rafael’s case which her husband was investigating.

She charged the police friend to investigate to find it out. The police friend of Melchor said she could be right and she would make his men investigate. Jaime was eavesdropping.

Tessa consoled Potpot that she passed through such thing when her son went missing but the world did not stop spinning because of her so she learnt to move on, asking Potpot should also move on.

Potpot said Teri found her son but Melchor would never returned. Teri said he needed not to return because he was always there in their hearts. She told Potpot that she had always seen him as special and considered him a son so he should inform her whenever he needed something.

Marga went to Asya and asked him where Caloy was. Asya told her that Caloy had attended the wake and told Marga that she was playing stubborn, she had to rest.

Caloy appeared at the funeral and when Leon set eyes on him, he went out. Caloy offered an envelope to Potpot on behalf of him and Marga. Potpot asked of Marga and Caloy said Marga would have wanted to come but was sick.

As Didith was making snacks, Jaime appeared and pulled an envelope from his back to her, saying it was from his Family. The psycho said he did not believe someone could do that against a good person like Melchor.

Caloy went out to see Leon playing cards with some guys and requested to talk to him. Leon gave him attitude and later told him that he did not know how it felt to grow up poor since Caloy was a rich guy.

Caloy told him a tale of his life. He was young when his father left his mother and disappeared. His mother also died and was delinquent. So if that was what Leon was saying he was sorry, the reason he wanted to make up for his mistakes.

Leon said dad did not want him close to Caloy and the latter asked who was that dad and Leon said Jaime. Caloy was perplexed to hear that, he asked whether Jaime asked him to call him dad and Leon said he decided to call him dad since he found him.

Jaime suddenly appeared and asked Leon if Caloy was bothering him and he said they were just talking. Tessa also appeared in the scene and asked Jaime that they should leave as Rafa would stay at the wake a bit longer so they left with Leon.

Caloy went in to console Potpot and told him to consider him his father. He said Potpot should take each advice Melchor gave him and every word he said and act upon it, that was the only way he could cope with his sudden departure. Potpot said he has now come to terms with his departure and would act as a father for Melai.

Rafa was thinking on why someone would do that against Melchor and Vida said that was why the death was tragic. They thought of means they could help Potpot and Rafa said they could only become a good friend to him.

Charlie arrived to offer her condolences. She saw Potpot and ran to him. She sked Potpot if he liked the flower she brought, she had also told her driver to get them more snacks to serve the other guests.

Charlie offered to stay with him throughout the night, she was also ready to enlist her father’s help to find the culprit and bring him to book. Potpot was grateful and told her not to hesitate to inform him if she needed a place to rest as there were available rooms upstairs.

In the Laurel’s mansion, Tessa offered Jaime a drink and said the person who murdered Melchor was heartless demon but Jaime said the person might have not murdered Jaime for no reason.

Jaime met with Marcus and told him his plans to depart from Philippines right away. He said Tessa’s ex-boyfriend wanted to connect with Leon and there was the issue of Potpot. To him, the world has become so small.

Marcus asked the difference it would make should he tell Tessa about Potpot being her son. Jaime said he did not want to appear as a liar. Marcus gave a plan that the hospital made a mistake about the DNA test and he found the real son but Jaime was not ready.

He said Potpot and Leon were two different young men, Leon was easy to be manipulated but not Potpot.

As Melai and Potpot were standing to their father’s casket, some of the acquaintances said Melchor was a good man and never hurt anyone. One asked the other’s opinion.

“If I were them I will not let it pass
I will make sure justice would be served.”

Potpot overhead them and got a plan in his head.
