Lynx Entertainment is established with a loan— Richie Mensah narrates

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lynx Entertainment Record label, Richie Mensah, has revealed that his studio was brought to fruition by a loan taken by his mother from her teacher’s salary.

Recounting the struggles amidst the setting up of his studio during the launch of the label’s 15 years anniversary, Richie Mensah, a former musician explained that his mother, upon realising the potential he had, used her teaching salary to acquire a loan for the establishment of the studio.

“She used her teacher’s salary to go and take a loan and bought equipment. I was in tears on that day because it was crazy,” he said.

The “Changing faces” hitmaker also acknowledged his brother Albert Mensah, friends and all industrial stakeholders who contributed to the building of his music career.

He announced that the company as part of its growth had expanded its operations by establishing the Lynx Group of Companies which comprised of the talent management wing, a recording studio component, and the Tigon Studios to handle video productions.

In spreading its tentacles, Lynx Entertainment has signed media personality Sika Osei, actor Adjetey Anang, comedian Lawyer Nti, singer BoyJake, and Adina who has already released her first single under the label.

At the launch of the Lynx Legacy celebration on April 6, 2022, at the Lynx Ghana office in Accra, it was announced that there would be an album featuring all the previous artistes that have worked with the label, as well as a musical concert to mark the celebration.
