Manager of Patapaa appeals for prayers for the artiste over recent attack

The manager of Hip life artiste Patapaa Amisty, Frank Freebody Mensah has appealed for prayers for the artiste after a viral news suggesting the Pa2Pa Soja is poisoned by a close pal.

The news which circulated on major media outlets and other blogging sites indicated that Patapaa was poisoned and on the verge of death at a hospital located in Swedru in the central region.

However after days of rumours, a statement issued in Swedru on Tuesday and signed by the Pa2Pa Manager,  Frank Freebody Mensah urged the public to discard the viral news and demanded for prayers to sustain and prolong the life of the artiste.

That, the statement explained would avert any pending harm instituted by enemies of Patapaa for him to continue treating fans and the world to his refined music.

“Air cleared, the management wishes to inform the Sojas and the general public to be relieved and encouraged to keep praying for the team so nothing like such should happen in our future endeavours,” it said.

The statement noted that Patapaa was hospitalised for a minor ailment which  had nothing to do with food poisoning, thus urged the public to discard the earlier news.

The viral news stated that a musician by name Bowtye disclosed the information to a media during an interview.

“On Monday August 10 the attention of PA2PA SOJAS management has been drawn on a release made by the Media stating that Swedru based hiplife artiste and ‘One Corner’ hitmaker, Justice Amoah well known as ‘PATAPAA AMISTY’ has been hospitalised and on the verge of death as a result of food poisoning,” the statement said.

It further indicated that Patapaa was responding to treatment and urged the public to shun any misleading information about the artiste.

“The public is hereby informed that the release is false and misleading. The artiste was hospitalised but has nothing to do with food poisoning. Patapaa Amisty is doing fine and recovering speedily from a minor illness,” the statement added.

It would be recalled that in November 2019, Patapaa disclosed that he survived food poisoning after he was offered an energy drink at a show in Tarkwa.

The artiste who is better known for his hit track “One Corner” stated that he would not be tamed by anybody and would continue to treat his Pa2pa Sojas, fans to his refined songs.
