I was 4 weeks pregnant before marrying— Maxine Medina reveals 

Renowned Filipina beauty queen-designer who doubles as an actress, Maxine Medina has revealed she was a month pregnant before tying the knot with boyfriend Timmy Llana, last year October.

According to her, she was not ready to settle down until the news of her pregnancy tamed her to get married.

Speaking in an exclusive media interview ahead of the mother’s day celebration Maxine who was popularly known in Los Bastardos as Isay stated that she wanted to have fun with her man.

However, when the doctor conducted a test on her to reveal that she was four weeks pregnant, she had to quickly marry him to build a family with the baby she was expecting.

“Of course I wasn’t ready. I was overwhelmed like a mix of emotions and excitement. I said, ‘Can I handle it with all the responsibilities? It’s hard to be a mommy. Now that it’s here, I’m nine months pregnant, we’re so excited,” she said.

Maxine acknowledged there were many ups and downs being pregnant including her body going through a lot of changes as her baby grows inside her, “Emotion, hormones to the highest level!”

“Every check-up, when I see the baby is okay and I feel his kicks, it’s all worth it,” Maxine added and thanked her loved ones for supporting her in her journey.

Maxine Medina married diving instructor Timmy Llana on October, 5, 2023 after getting engaged in April 2022.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2016 titleholder announced this on her Instagram after sharing clips of her wedding to confirm her union.

In February 2024, Maxine and Timmy announced they were expecting their first child.

Maxine Medina is one of the beauty queens who successfully transitioned to showbiz and was launched to stardom.

After landing in the Top 6 of Miss Universe 2016, she embarked on acting and in 2018, she made her television debut in a drama and later on became a GMA Network artist when she joined “First Yaya” in 2021 as Lorraine Prado.
