NPP Youth Organiser of Odododiodio Constituency has lost his life

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Youth Organiser of the Odododiodio Constituency has died.

According to close relations, the organiser who is only identified as Ras died yesterday in Accra after a short illness.

Ras who was a vibrant member of the NPP, following his demise had received lots of condolence messages from members of the party.

The New Patriotic Party for this year has lost some great members including Sir John, the Chief Executive of the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, Anthony Kobina Kurentsir Sam.

Yesterday, a parliamentary aspirant in the Yapei -Kusawgu constituency in Savannah Region also died at a spot after an articulated truck veered into the car he was travelling with.

Recently the Member of Parliament (MP) of Mfantseman Constituency, Ekow Kwansah Hayford was also shot dead by some assailants believed to be robbers.

Mr Hayford was shot on Friday around 1:00am by suspected armed robbers when returning to his constituency from a campaign trip on October 9, 2020.

The incident happened on the Abeadze Dominase–Abeadze Duadzi–Mankessim road.

It was reported that despite indicating he was a legislator when attacked, the assailants went ahead to shoot him with an offense of contributing to national hardship.

Mr Hayford is known for engaging in developmental projects in his constituency and his affable nature.
