Police have seized 324,000 used Condoms from a warehouse

Vietnam police officials have confiscated 324,000 used condoms which were being recycled in a warehouse at Binh Duong in South Vietnam on Saturday.

According to report, the culprits were recycling the used rubber contraceptives to resell them to people and companies.

Daily mail could confirm that the owner of the warehouse together with workers allegedly cleaned, dried and sorted the condoms before selling them again to the public as if they were new.

The report stated that paid workers were tasked with cleaning the rubber contraceptives before reshaping them with wooden dildos.

The condoms were then repackaged before being resold to the public and thousands had already been sent out to the unsuspecting public.

The operation, which was believed to being run from a warehouse in the province of Binh Duong in the south of Vietnam had been sold to people and companies over the years.

The Vietnam Police who were hinted by the operation raided the warehouse on Saturday and seized the used prophylactics.

Although, the confiscated items would be disposed off immediately but they were seized as evidence and also to bring the culprit to book.

The police noted that the recycled rubber contraceptives had dire health implications on the user and were considered dangerous medical waste.

“A government official said Condoms are classified as medical items, so we will take a look at the several laws that the owner has broken and bring the owner to book,” the police said.

Currently, the police have not been able to identify the number of condoms which had already been sold but the load which were found weighed 360kg.

Also, local reports suggested that the used items were being supplied to hotels, market stalls and individuals near the warehouse and the locality.

Police are yet to confirm whether the prophylactics were sold to other part of Vietnam and the world.
