Multi-hit maker, Kofi Kinaata has described as unfortunate how the new novel coronavirus has compelled musicians to disinfect microphones whenever they hit the studio.

According to him, the fear of contracting the virus has pushed them to always sanitise microphones when using.

Speaking in a media interview the “Things Fall Apart” hit maker bemoaned that recording music has become very difficult as anyone using the microphone could be a carrier of the virus, thus made working in the studio tedious.

He observed that hitting the studio for recording was scary, saying the one who does it put his or her life at risk.

COVID-19, Kofi Kinaata stressed had made musicians withhold all the new songs they have to record.

He also revealed that the outbreak of the virus had compelled him to cancel shows which he had in the United States of America (USA).

The shows, Kofi Kinaata noted were scheduled for last month, adding that the lockdown of various countries due to the pandemic compelled organisers of the event to put it on hold for now.

He mentioned that other gigs during the Easter festivities had been seriously affected due to the situation, that he said had made him to cancel all bookings.

Kofi Kinaata however appealed to the public to adhere to the precautionary measures outlined by the authorities to safeguard their lives, adding that “nothing is important than human lives.”
