Coronavirus:Kwasi Mintah has cautioned the citizenry against self medication in dealing with COVID-19.

Sensational worship icon, Kwasi Mintah has cautioned the youth against self medication in light of preventing themselves from acquiring the new novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

According to him, the abuse of drugs and the frequent in take of chloroquine as well as alcohol would not help their body to resist the virus but would rather prone their system to it.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with spotonnews.net on Friday in Accra, the Onyame Behwe hit maker bemoaned that it was wrong time for people to be abusing drugs, thus underscored the need for them to take precautionary measures to resist the virus.

He observed that in the call to boost the immune system, many youth in the country were indulging in self medication and personal preventive measures without seeking the minds of health practitioners.

Kwasi Mintah said some medications were not good for others, stressing that they should not take drugs which were not prescribed by medical practitioners, since it has consequences.

In experiencing the symptoms of COVID-19, he said they should call the available toll free numbers to report rather than taking in unknown drugs as first aid.

Kwasi Mintah noted that obeying the social distancing protocol, staying at home, regularly washing the hands with soap under running water and sanitising the hands as often as possible would be the best to practice at the moment.

He urged the citizenry to continue seeking the face of God to offer healing to the nation was, while imploring them to eat good foods that could boost their immune system.

The international gospel gem also urged the citizenry to continue listening to “Onyame Behwe,” saying it carries the powerful words which could heal the mind, body and soul for people to continue believing that God is still steering the affairs of the country.

In addition, Kwasi Mintah indicated that God would never neglect the nation but would continue to shower his blessings and healing to make the country most blessed nation in the world.
