Jamaican Art, Martina Startina calls on musicians to study the business aspect of music

Jamaican Reggaehallsoul, Debbie Doyles known in the Showbiz Industry as Martina Startina has called on musicians to learn how to craft their music to meet the demands of the market.

According to her, many industrial players lack the musical craft and were not meeting the business side of the industry, hence the advice.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Spot On News yesterday through virtual means, the sultry songstress who is also an actress explained that Jamaica’s industry was competitive one and needed individuals who understand the dynamism of it to help it excel.

She said her present in the industry would shape it as she has introduced a new craft that would take the industry by storm.

The multi talented artiste noted that her music is not only a mixture of Reggae and Dancehall genre but a fusion of Rhythm and blues and Soul genre (Reggaehallsoul) as well.

She promised to sell the Jamaican art to other countries, in so doing the beautiful artiste said she would travel to Africa, her root especially Ghana to feature other great artistes in the industry.

Martina Startina insisted that music needed craft and was poised to add many artistes to craft her music in a unique way to excite music lovers who wanted variety.

She recently released her debut song  to treat her fans who got fond of her music nine years ago when she made triumphant entry into the industry with collaboration with various international arts including Beenieman Vybes Kartel, Aidonia, Ricky Trooper and Anthony B Mad among others.

Her music dubbed: “Anti Social” advises  people to avoid negativity, she explained that people should be their own motivator and show love to others while they keep watch on their surroundings to relate to others.

The track which is a reggae/dancehall was produced by Dublab Production and is available on all the mainstream media.

The triple threat artiste urged music lovers in the world to grab a copy of her song and also encouraged them to stay safe and maintain social distancing wherever they go to help in the fight against the current novel coronavirus outbreak.
