Unknown assailants attempted to kill Kennedy Agyapong for current religious exposé

Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong was alleged to have been attacked by unknown assailants in his house at Community 12, Tema.

According to a narration by Oman Channel, the incident happened last dawn where two unknown gun men raid Mr Agyapong’s house to kill him for exposing some individuals who have flouted the laws of the land.

He explained that one of the assailants climbed the pod and broke the levers to get inside the house while the other was standing outside to ensure no one get into the building.

The narrator stated that, during that time Mr Agyapong’s nephew who works at Net 2 Tv was around and he heard noise downstairs which he thought it was Randy, a colleague at work.

He said when the nephew got down, the gun man got hold of him and demanded him to show him Mr Agyapong’s room.

The Nephew who was gun pointed began searching for keys believing to be the bedroom keys of his uncle, Mr Agyapong.

He took a particular key to open a certain room which the door failed to open and he searched for another key, this time the door opened and he quickly jumped into the room and locked the door at the gun man, he screamed in the room for help.

Neighbours, the narrator indicated heard the call for help and began to blow sirens of ambulance which compelled the assailants to run before being caught.

The act was alleged to have been fuelled by one of the enemies of Mr Agyapong, and pointed accusing finger on the popular controversial man of God, Bishop Daniel Kojo Obinim as the master brain behind the assassination attempt.

He noted that the man of God was in a beef with the outspoken politician which the MP leaked series of hidden acts of him.

The narrator however appealed to Mr Agyapong to continue leaking matters surrounding Bishop Obinim and  expose all his secret acts to the world.
