Shatta Wale claims he is the god of Gh Music

Reggae/dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale is proving himself as the god of Ghana music after he receives accolades from various celebrities and politicians for selling the country’s craft to the international market.

This follows the release of “Already” a soundtrack which he was featured by the American music icon, Beyoncé Knowles Carter.

The film of the song was released on Friday and premiered on Disney+ to tell the story of Africans and their rich culture.

However, Shatta Wale has urged his fans to comment “the God of Shatta Wale” to prove that he is the celebrity of the year.

“Today I just want y’all to type #GodOfShattaWale,” he said.

Shatta Wale posted this today on his Twitter handle to get the Shatta Movement (SM) fans entertained and to celebrate his great achievement he has chalked for the country.

He established that his achievements could be traced from God who made him set a standard in the industry.

Earlier, Shatta Wale commended Beyoncé for giving him the platform to promote his art, craft and culture to the international market.

“Thank you My Queen for believing in my talent and giving me a platform to share my good message to the world …God will forever bless you ?? #symbolofhope #Already #BlackIsKing #ShattaIsKing @beyonce,” he said.

Prior to the collaboration, many Ghanaians tagged him as a local champion and to him he has proven he was not only a local champ but has gained international recognition to sell his talents to the world.

The controversial dancehall musician over the years claimed that he was the king of Ghana dancehall music and his declaration sparked war between Samini, Stonebwoy and him.

His collaboration which has been the talk of last year and this year is slowly changing the narrative and proving his zeal as a celebrated artiste who has transformed Ghana music industry.

Beyoncé Knowles explained that his collaboration with African arts was to prove that the Blacks had great talents and good things which needed to be sold to the world.

She noted that the film of the “Black is King” album has become relevance especially in an era which the Black Americans had to fight against racism.

To her, Black is beauty, a unique culture and  a rich story which needed platforms to sell.
