Wiyaala’s ‘African Polyglot’ earns Consideration for Grammys 

Sensational Ghanaian Afro-pop singer, Noella Wiyaala Nwadei known in the entertainment fraternity as Wiyaala has gained a spot in this yaer’s Grammy nominations.

Her album, ‘African Polyglot’ is accepted by the Grammys to be considered for the “Best Global Music Album” of the year.

The singer announced this on her Facebook page on Sunday, October 6 to celebrate and thank all those through their mentorship, chalked her to that feat in the industry.

Wiyaala urged her fans to stream the African Polyglot on their favourite digital music channel.

“Recording Academy / GRAMMYs
Wow! A big Roarrrrrr!!” she added.

After her announcement, the singer has received countless congratulatory messages from her fans for her hardwork and unique style of singing with her native Sissala and Waala dialects.

In 2022, Wiyaala was welcomed as a member of the GRAMMYS after receiving an invitation from the Recording Academy.

This was made known by the Recording Academy President and CEO Harvey Mason Jr. who shared the news during an annual address, in which he welcomed nearly 2,000 diverse musicians, including the Ghanaian afropop singer-songwriter.
