You shall be given four more years—Samira pens down Birthday wish for Bawumia
The second lady, Samira Bawumia has assured her husband Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia that Ghanaians will give him and the President four more years to continue to deliver their mandate.
According to her, that was the greatest wish and a Birthday gift that God will bless him with as he turned 57 today.
In a Birthday wish which she penned today, the second lady stated that Dr Bawumia was the pillar of his family and the country and asked God to give him longer life.
“Happy birthday, my dear Mahamudu. May the Almighty Allah bless you with many more years to continue being a great pillar to our family and this nation. Insha Allah, you shall be given four more years to serve the good people of Ghana,” Samira Bawumia said.
Dr Bawumia turns 57 today, he was a Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG) until he was nominated as the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2008.
He, however, became the vice president in 2016 after the NPP won the elections against the National Democratic Party (NDC).
President Akufo-Addo retained him as his vice president ahead of the December polls and are now campaign to win the elections.
Dr Bawumia was born on October 7, 1963 in Tamale to Alhaji Mumuni Bawumia and Hajia Mariama Bawumia and is married to Hajia Samira Bawumia.
Dr Bawumia has earned a great role in Ghana’s economy as he heads the country’s Economic Management Team.
Recently research surfaced on Google that his name and image was tagged by some Ghanaians as a liar, however he has contributed a lot in the country’s politics.
Through Dr Bawumia, the opposition flagbearer and the then president of the country, John Dramani Maham earned the title “incompetent.”
