Clarice got upset that they were sending her far. She screamed at Patrick and told him and Dente that she was devoid of having a beauty sleep just to get there. She said she should have remained in the house to relax and if it wasn’t for Cardo, he would be at home. She said she now looked like a jungle woman.
Rigor also kept on with his impressive performance on Robles and was glad to hear that she wanted to marry a Filipino guy. Lito arrived at where Alyana was and memories rushed back on his mind. Alyana was working when she saw Lito and went to hug her.

They sat and Lito asked when she came. Alyana said she had a problem in Manila that was the reason she had to be there. As Oscar opened his eyes to look around, Mariano was also rehearsing when Lily got there to say he had done impressively well but warned him against moving around. Cardo and his team arrived home to find Alyana in the company of Lito.
She introduced Cardo to him as her husband. Lito was blown off by the news. Cardo stretched forth his hands to greet him and mentioned his full name to Lito. Upon hesitation, Lito finally shook hands with him. They welcomed Lito as they told him about their life and why they came to the province.
Lito could remember watching the news declaring Cardo and his group wanted, for escape with a man who was in the police custody. Cardo said it was his grandfather, Delfin. His team had to rescue him because his life was under threat. The task force explained their situation to Lito and the latter was willing to help the group out.
Diana saw Virgie worried about her husband and she commended her for standing by her husband’s side all those while and urged her to continue doing that. They later discussed Oscar’s real condition. Diana hoped what they had been hearing about Oscar getting better was true but Teddy doubted. He insisted on releasing the ace up under his sleeves.
Lito sent Alyana to a private place to ask if she was okay and if Cardo was also treating her well. Alyana confirmed that Cardo was a good man and a good husband who treated her well. Lito asked about her parents. The task force was worried about seeing Lito. They believed they were not safe but Ramon assured them of the total silence of Lito.
Delfin said they should still not become complacent. Alyana was happy that Lito had been able to shake off poverty and was now a successful man. Lito came to the Taskforce to ask for his leave and told them to visit him one of those days. Alyana was escorting Lito when Bubbles also followed.
Teddy, called his colleague to roll out his plans of using the public to pressure the office of the president to make the journalists speak with him. His friend has also thought about that since no one was allowed to speak with the President. Lily and Arturo were on the way to meet Hipolito when Ellen called to talk to Arturo about business but Arturo was upset.
He cut off the line and could not believe that Ellen was talking about business instead of Clarice. Lily told him not to act like Ellen was also not concerned about Clarice. As Hipolito and Jacob were waiting for the arrival of the first lady, the palace servants were also hatching up a plan to get close to the president in an attempt to see his actual condition.
They were ready to take advantage of the absence of Lily to find answers to their questions. Alyana said goodbye to him and Bubbles was so happy as they saw him leaving with his fleet of cars. When they returned to the house, in excitement, Bubbles said in front of the Task Force including Cardo that Lito was very handsome and rich.
Alyana held her right there in order not to put negative ideas into the head of Cardo. The guys even admitted that Lito was very handsome and looked like a celebrity. Ramon told them once again that they could count on Lito. Lily and Hipolito had a discussion about their illegal business when Jacob and Juan had a misunderstanding and kept them under control.
The two almost k!lled each other outside the premise and Hipolito came to separate the fight. He warned them to dirty the place with blood. Lily came to give the final straw. The palace servants cooked lots of dishes in order to use it as bait to get close to the president.
Meanwhile, Mariano was also happy with his new position as the president. As he viewed himself through the mirror, he felt that no one would doubt that he was the president. He planned to take advantage of his new role to enjoy as the President of the country.
Lito while on his way recalled how Alyana introduced Cardo to him as her husband. He was quite sad to know that Alyana did not return for him. He deemed all his efforts and hardwork as useless since Alyana belonged to someone else and planned not to allow Cardo to have a smooth sail with Alyana.
