Stop being ‘stupid’ for advertising your ignorance—Okaikoi MP attacks Serwaa Amihere

The Member of parliament (MP) of Okaikoi Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah has described Serwaa Amihere,  an anchor at GHOne news as “stupid” and then charged her to stop advertising her ignorance.

According to him, Ms Amihere lacks  professionalism and media ethics and always exhibit her ignorance in her field of work.

On Saturday, the news anchor questioned the MP’s achievement, especially for putting a signpost on a wooden bridge the latter had constructed on a small gutter within his constituency.

“I hope this is not real. How can this be a project to highlight by an MP? How?” Ms Amihere queried.

But the MP,  Mr Boamah who was not enthused by Ms Amihere’s question in his reply charged the journalist to check her facts before making comments on social media.

He said Ms Amihere had always been ignorant and exhibited lack of professionalism in approaching relevant issues.

“Dear @Serwaa_Amihere, I wish you CHECK your FACTS well and stop being stupid for advertising your ignorance on your media Outlet. You always lack professionalism and media ethics,” Mr Boamah stated.

Rebutting the MP’s reply, Ms Amihere insisted that the tweet of the MP did not disprove anything as the picture she earlier posted was right and factual.

“Your tweet disproves nothing and there is no other fact to check as the picture is quite clear. Also, if this is truly the official twitter handle for the MP’s campaign, then your language is appalling and doesn’t reflect the conduct of a man whose name is preceded by Honourable,” she added.
