Diego’s plans to expose Arnaldo as the brains behind Nimfa’s death backfires. He is implicated for Nimfa’s death and is arrested.
The Ardientes’ celebration over Diego’s arrest turns chaos as Raul fights Arnaldo for his deeds.
Ivy records Arnaldo’s confession and is ready to testify in court as Lily. Elsewhere, Julio’s goons capture Raul. Arnaldo visits Diego in prison together with Ivy.
Unbeknownst, Ivy leaves a note for Diego. Jaguar captures the judge to bribe her to dismiss Diego’s case.
The survey which the Ardientes conducted projects Diego leading by 82 per cent. They bribe some officers to kill Diego but, Jaguar’s goons save Diego.
Elsewhere, Natalie traps and captures Emilia using Lily as bait. She is about to kill Emilia when Jaguar intervenes.
Arnaldo learns about the kidnapping of Ivy and Emilia but he is rather worried about his fianceé. After the two are saved, Julio suspects Jaguar to be Senator Pablo’s man.
Jaguar offers Emilia a deal to join him. Unbeknownst, Emilia has struck a deal with Julio to kill Jaguar for his seat in the Congress.
Emilia continues to receive gifts from Jaguar. Diego accepts protection from Jaguar under a condition. Later, Arnaldo’s campaign is ruined when Diego’s presence as a free man gets the masses rally behind him.
Julio releases another plot and Ivy reveals it to Diego. However, Emilia gains evidence to taint Diego’s credibility.
