Betrayal (Halik) Episode 43 Jade and Ace get fired from their respective jobs
Jade explained that her cycle has delayed for a week and doubted she could be pregnant.
She said she and Ace used protection and insisted she was not pregnant.
“May be this is just emotional stress, that’s right. I am just physically drained: Emotionally drained, mentally drained it’s too much that’s why I fainted.”
“How about your delayed period?” Marisa quizzed. Jade quickly researched whether it was normal for one’s menstrual cycle to delay.
Marissa was not interested in reading that, she asked her why she seemed so upset with the idea of getting pregnant.
“You know Jade, a child could be a greatest weapon especially since Ace and Jacky don’t have a child yet.
He is just a man after all bestie. Remember one of the men’s weaknesses is their children.”
“I don’t think so, I don’t believe that because if that is true why did my father leave us?”
Marissa think about the situation, Ace and I cannot fix ourselves what about our child? And besides Ace and Jacky aren’t annulled yet, you see… and on top of that there is this leak video. It will be the lead scandal of the year,” Jade looks worried.
She insisted that she was not pregnant and Marissa said she would have to eat the fish.
Lino spoke with the building constructor to give instructions on how he wanted his house to be. He took snaps of the construction of the building which was in progress.
Maggie told Gio that she was resigning since her colleagues were gossiping behind her back. She added that it was not right for a boss to date his employee.
Gio pleaded with her to give him a chance. Maggie accepted and he fired her in order to court her.
Jacky stated that Jade and Ace were disgusting as far as their current scandal is concerned. Ace ordered someone to take the video down and was willing to pay anything.
A bang came through, he opened the door and Paeng came in. He punched him for his scandal video. He said he was ashamed of him for being his son.
Ace cried that for all his life he has worked to please Paeng but there was no single day that he recognised his efforts.
“At least Mauro recognises my talent,” Paeng interjected that they should wait and see if Mauro would recognise him if he sees the scandal video.
“You know son you are on your own now. If you recover from this that is only when I will be proud of you.”
Lino arrived at work and looked so worn out. Barry approached him and he showed him pictures of his house.
“Too bad for Jade. She deserves it after all that she did to you. Congratulations the Bartolomes have a new house.
When shall we celebrate?” Lino said they could celebrate it right away.
Jade took a mirror to examine herself of there was changes in her body but she saw none. Marissa got in and gave her a test kit for her to conduct a test to know her status.
She told her to look at the silver lining, Ace could change and become more responsible should she be pregnant for him.
Jade said she would not want to tie a man to herself once again through pregnancy since Lino only got married to her once she was pregnant.
She believed that irrespective of the shortcomings of Ace he truly l*v*d her. Jade watched the scandal video again and felt disappointed telling herself that she could not get pregnant for Ace.
Barry at a outing with Lino to celebrate his success wondered why people kept sharing the scandal video. He added that it was the reason he never wanted to get serious with any woman in life.
Barry asked what if Ace did that to all women he beds adding that what if he did that to Jacky. Lino doubted he could do that to his wife.
Jade was relieved as she menstruated, she told Marissa that she would get everything behind her and deal with Ace.
Vince asked Ace why he recorded the video and he said he wanted to prove to Lino his manly nature.
Vince said then his plans backfired he said it did not, eventually he would get his revenge on Lino.
Vince advised him to either lay low for the scandal to fade or take it down as soon as possible and pleaded with him not to set foot in his bar.
Ace asked whether he was throwing him out and he explained that he was running a business. Ace then said he was behaving like his dad and now he has seen his real friends.
Fer forced Dolor to watch the scandal video. Dolor cried that she could not watch l*v* scenes in movies talking of $e× video.
She felt sorry for Lino since he had to go through such thing after the two disgusting creatures posted their bedroom tape online.
Lino went to the bar and told Ace to have respect for Jade by pulling down the scandal video. Ace told him that Jade was his and Lino should stop acting like a caring husband.
He asked Lino the number of times he watched the scandal video. Upsetting him, he urged Lino to punch him. Asking what he would punch him for, whether for giving Jade everything that he could not offer him; money, house, car and $e×.
He said Lino was lucky that there was no audio attached to the video otherwise he would have heard Jade moaning for more, telling him that he was the first man who had made her feel like a woman.
Lino punched his belly and warned him to get rid of the video. Lino threatened to press charges against him.
Lino got home drunk. Fer gave him advice to let go of the heavy burden he carried, saying drinking would not cut off the problem. Lino said he would keep drinking till he reap the l*v* of Jade from his heart.
Ace paid an IT wizard for pulling down the scandal video. He asked him to trace the person who uploaded it. He promised to double the payment once he got the person behind the scandal.
Lino promised Dolor that he would move forward in life without thinking about Jade and the shame she had brought to his life.
Maggie cheered him on. Gio went to Maggie’s house and realised she was leaving with Lino.
Paeng promised Mauro to rectify the mistakes Ace. Gio later met Maggie and she tend in her resignation letter. He was so happy that Maggie was resigning.
He saw it as a better opportunity to make her his girlfriend. He proposed to Maggie and she said it was not easy to get her.
Meanwhile, Jade pleaded with her boss not to fire her. She explained that she was the victim of the situation. She said she never knew she was recorded but the boss said Jade was married so the victim was her husband not her.
He explained to Jade that he was running a business and did not want their reputation to get ruined since client who would see her would have one thing in mind, which is the lady who was in the scandal video. He threw her out but Jade never stopped putting up her tantrums before leaving.
Ace arrived at Montecorp and the workers gossiped about his scandal video.
He went inside to find out that there was a meeting with clients concerning his scandal video.
Mauro pleaded with the clients and Paeng also admitted that he was the father of Ace and said sorry to them.
In making up with the clients, Mauro gave them 5% discount and assured them that they would not deal with Ace again.
Mauro went to meet Ace in his office and fired him. Jade took her things and all the workers came to stand on the way to watch her.
Marissa advised Jade not to look at anyone but should hold her face up high and go.
