The Broken Marriage Vow Episode 21 Jill gains complete custody of Gio, David closes down his company and files for bankruptcy
At the hospital, Gio was happy to see that his mother had woken up. He cried and asked his mother for forgiveness for all the bad things he said to her the other time. He did not want to lose his mother and wanted to be with his mother.
Jill told him not to be sorry and she caressed him. As Lexy ran to her mother for help, Marina also visited her son at the precinct with Migs. David told her he did not want to give his son to Jill. Marina advised him not to drag the issue further.

Nathalia refused to help Lexy. She told her that David was a wife beater and should not be with him. Lexy said David did not mean that. Since her mother refused to help her, she left. Fred came to call his wife and it turned out that he persuaded her to turn her back on Lexy which Nathalia was unhappy to do.
Jill recalled how David hit her head. Carol visited her at the hospital and told her how Gio had been affected by everything and she had to convince him to even stay at home to relax without going to school. She asked Jill if she wanted Gio to stay with her till she got better. Jill thanked Carol for her help.
Charlie visited David and his friend thought he was at the precinct to ridicule him. He left him without listening to what Charlie would say. Sandy also was with Jill when Marina got there to talk to Jill to drop the charges against David. She claimed her son had regretted everything he did and could have everything including the house, money and Gio so she should drop the charges.

Attorney Dante went to see Jill to tell her how their case had been strengthened by David’s actions. Jill did not want to compromise and wanted the case to be settled as soon as possible. She reclaimed everything. David’s attorney sent the documents to David to urge him to accept Jill’s offer by giving her everything for his freedom.
David did not want that but his attorney reminded him that he might lose everything including his son and end up behind bars for years. Dante called Jill to inform her that David had signed the documents and had agreed to all her terms. Lexy went for David only for him to discover that Lexy had pawned off her stuff and had even sold their house in her attempt to raise money to settle David’s case.
Lexy stated that they could lodge in a hotel but David rather sent her to his mother’s house. Marina made the servant prepared food for them and Migs also cleaned the room for David and Lexy. Marina had a private talk with David and she pleaded with him to leave his son and Jill alone to give him the peace and tranquility to start all over.
Meanwhile, Jill tore the picture of David and her and also took off her ring. David called his son but Gio hung up and told Jill that they did not need David. The next day, David went to the office and told his employees the sad news that he was closing down the Illustre company.

He also accepted to pay the salaries of his workers and urged them to talk to Grace, his secretary. After she heard that David had closed down his company and talked to the nanny to find out that Lexy pawned off her jewelry and sold off her condo and was currently living with Marina, she called Lexy.
Lexy and David went to the house of the Luceros in order to stay there but Fred did not accept that his daughter would end up with garbage like David who beat his own wife and filed for bankruptcy. His wife had made him believe that Lexy would stay with them alone. David got offended and decided to leave. Lexy followed him as she chose to be by his side.
Nathalia couldn’t take it and ran to them to inform them about a house she had arranged for her daughter so that she could feel comfortable. She made David promise to take care of her daughter and told them that the nanny would get in touch with them to do the necessary.
Jill had a medical outreach programme and Sandy together with Dr. Barry surprised her. Sandy had a talk with Jill to inform her how their friendship meant a lot to her. David went to Gio’s school to see him since he had been ignoring his calls. Gio reminded him of the restraining order against him. David tried to convince his son to allow him into his life.
However, Gio made it clear that he did not need him and warned him not to look for him again. He should concentrate on his new family because he and Jill were better off without him.
