Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 617 Diana, Teddy are captured, Virgie blames Cardo for the deàth of Alyana
Salvador came to inform Lito that they had to prepare for Alyana’s wake. Delfin and Cardo’s comrades also prepared for it. Alyana was dressed and laid in her coffin. Lito went to check her up and consoled Delfin for their loss.
Though, he said Alyana meant a lot to him and had tragically lost her life, he would keep assisting Delfin and Cardo’s group. Teddy and Diana went to meet Bom, least did they know that they were trapped. Hipolito who was watching through security camera footage in his safe house told Jacob that now nothing would hinder him from eliminating Diana.
He said he tried k!lling Diana for two consecutive times but all to no avail: Cardo rescued her. This time around he believed he would defeat Diana. Diana did not understand why Bom was not showing up so Teddy tried to reach him over the phone.
In Batangas, while looking at the corpse of Alyana, Ramil blamed Cardo for it and said Cardo even wanted them to surrender. Greco and Tadpole warned him to respect the wake of Alyana and even if he had issues with Cardo, it did not merit his speech since Cardo did not want that to happen.
They went to see Lito and Ramil kept the blame game. He told Lito that Cardo was the reason Alyana was in that state and Cardo had been making bad decisions which had affected the group. Diana saw some vans approaching and realised it was a set up. Before they could run, Padua and his goons got them surrounded.
Diana brandished a gün but the vile men were many so Teddy suggested that they surrender. Padua asked where Cardo was located and threatened to take down Teddy and his entire family, if he did not tell him the truth. Diana retorted that he would not get anything from them.
Virgie arrived at Batangas and broke into tears when she saw her daughter lying helplessly in a coffin. She screamed out that she knew that would happen when her daughter was with Cardo and blamed Cardo for Alyana’s situation. Delfin tried to calm her and Major Basco explained that it was an accident.
Cardo did not intend for that to happen. Her daughter was only caught in a crossfire. Roxanne explained that it was merely an accident and right now Cardo was also unconscious and almost didn’t make it. Diana and Teddy were ushered to the hideout. Lily advised Padua to rest.
She believed that when he exerted pressure on their victims, they would not talk but they would only talk when they were worn out. The goons took off the blindfold material from the eyes of Teddy and Diana and told Teddy that the warehouse was the place his reporter was days ago.
Padua, in the house told his wife that he had successfully captured Teddy and Diana with the help of Lily and Renato. Lily called Hipolito to tell him that Arturo might be a hindrance to their plans since he was not using his head due to his daughter who was in the hands of Cardo.
She said between both of them, they only wanted to get to Cardo and did not care about Clarice. Salonga was very worried when they could not reach Diana and Teddy. They went to the hideout of their two allies and discovered their absence. Their suspicions fueled when the body of Bom was circulating on the internet. They had no doubts that Diana and Teddy were captured by Lily and Padua.
Lily gave Oscar an update about them capturing Teddy and Diana and believed soon they would locate the hideout of Cardo. Hearing her husband talk about Renato, Ellen while in bed with her husband fished out information about Renato and Padua told her Renato was a wanted criminal.
Diana advised Teddy not to reveal the hideout of Cardo irrespective of what would be done to them in order to keep Alyana, JP and Virgie safe. Diana managed to untie herself and they planned an escape. She acted up to attract the presence of Jorge only for her to attack him and took off his gün. She untied Teddy but Ramirez and his men saw them.
Salonga was scared for the lives of Teddy and Diana and believed Cardo’s safety was also compromised since their enemies had Diana and Teddy. James testified that even in the grave of Diana, she would never reveal the truth but Teddy was who he was afraid of.
Salonga advised James to go to the palace while he would find means to locate Teddy and Diana and if something happened to them then it meant that they would have a backup which was him. Diana attacked Jorge to flee with Teddy but the goons were many. She fought and shõt her way out. She then decided to stay behind to ensure Teddy leaves the place to ask for help.
However, Teddy on his way out got cornered and hiding couldn’t help him. He was almost shõt and Jorge who regained consciousness went to his rescue. Jorge knew the death of Teddy would lead to a confrontation from Padua.
Diana kept fighting, unfortunately, her bullets got finished and surrendered. Least, did Ramirez knew that Diana was only setting him a trap to beat him and take his weapon to flee.
She subdued Ramirez threats. Before she could get rid of him, the goons who cornered Teddy put a gün on Teddy’s head forcing Diana to surrender to keep Teddy alive. They were tied back and Padua was informed about how slippery Diana was in fleeing. Oscar hearing an update of Lily, prayed that Cardo and his team would be safe.
Meanwhile, Virgie kept crying seeing her daughter in that state and still did not know what to tell Teddy. Lito tried consoling her and apologised for his inability to save Alyana. Virgie said it was not his fault but Cardo’s. She wished that Alyana had married Lito instead. She was privy to how good he was to her daughter.
