A Family Affair Episode 16 Paco stands for Mayor at General Luna, Lando is attacked
Paco went to Ebs’ place to pick up his wife. Ebs ushered him in and left for them to have a private talk. Cherry wanted to serve him coffee but he wanted her to go home. Cherry told Paco that he could not get everything that he wanted.
Paco made it clear that he needed her by his side because without her, he would not be able to carry on in life. They went back home. Paco went to work and the issue at the ranch was escalating.

He had no choice than to stand as the Mayor and he called for a family meeting to declare his intentions to his family, much to the surprise of everyone. His family were not only surprised by the declaration but wearing his father’s watch and informing them that their father left it for him and also wanted him to stand as Mayor.
Paco explained that the Governor told him about it and his decision to have taken that bold step was to help people. Cherry interjected that he could still help the people without necessarily running for Mayor. Dave feared that he could be corrupt but he said he would not toll that line.
He needed power and authority to solve the problem at the ranch. He said his decision was final and all that he needed was their support. Cherry wondered why he did not consult her before doing that.
Cherry went to inform Ebs and her stepmother could not wait for the post of First Lady’s mother. Paco went to see the governor and saw Florabelle. Drew went to ask Mr Lando about what he knew about the body which was thrown off the cliff and convinced the lüñåtiç to follow him to go to a place where there were plenty of foods.
Lando sent him to the cliff and told them that it was the place where the men brought the body from the car and threw it into the sea. He explained that he found a paper, a letter left for him by Michelle, his girlfriend. He wept and said he løvëd Michelle.
Drew imagined throwing Lando off the cliff. Lando saw him as a good man and asked him to teach him how to read a letter. He told Drew that a bad man stole the letter Michelle wrote and he sent Drew home to teach him how to read.
Lando showed Drew pictures of Michelle and made him read what was written at the back of it. Drew said Michelle said she løved him. Land hugged Drew and was so happy. Drew told him to follow him to frame the picture of Michelle.
Paco went to see the Governor and saw Florabelle. Florabelle called him the Mayor and advised him to involve Seb in his campaign. After talking to the Governor, Paco went to see the Mayor. The Mayor was his godfather and he had been friends with Freddie for long.
It was because of his friendship with Freddie that made Freddie not to stand for the Mayor, though Freddie had always shown interest in being in politics. He knew Paco would stand in his footprint and become the Mayor of the place. As a Mayor, he ensured to help Freddie for his ranch to work and Freddie had also helped him.
Paco had no change of plans and was determined to contest the Mayor. The Mayor wished him the best and made him know that politics was dirty: if he had a hidden secret, it would blow out on his face but if he had no secret then everything would be fine.
Drew drove Lando to a far off place in the middle of the night and left him in the middle of nowhere. Lando begged him not to leave him there but Drew drove away and shed tears. The Estrellas had a meeting and Paco told Seb that he would need him in his campaign and while he and his wife would be busy campaigning, Drew would be in charge of Cuatro.
Seb told Cherry about his dream of seeing Freddie who told him to choose his family in everything and assured to leave Florabelle. He went to meet Florabelle to once again end his relationship with her but they ended up getting intimate again.
The following day, the family prepared for a campaign at the city hall. Ebs picked up a dress for Cherry Red to suit her future position as the first lady. Cherry wore the white short dress and was looking classic. Seb complimented her looks and Colleen said Cherry could only be the first lady and not the second lady.
They went to the Town’s hall and Paco officially declared himself as a politician running for the Mayor in that year’s elections. He said it was his father’s dreams and wanted to fulfill it to help others just like his father helped the people of
General Luna.
Cherry saw Lando who was shivering and looking pale. She followed him and couldn’t find him. She searched and found the man fainted at the beach. The incident reminded her of her father and she cried for help for Lando.
