A Family Affair Episode 2 Paco fights Dave for dating Cherry, Drew k!lls Panyong
Not knowing what to do, Dave asked Paco if he and Cherry were heading on well with their relationship. Paco could not confirm because he and Cherry were only cool. She had not agreed with his proposal yet.
The four brothers toasted. Drew, the youngest son kept skipping dinner and family hangout with an excuse of doing his school assignments.

Unbeknownst to the family, their brother was doing drugs. His friend brought him a different brand which would not only help him sleep but would go the extreme length to make him happy.
Later, the family came to realise what Drew had been up to when he was detained at the precinct for the possession of drügs. After bailing him, Freddie disciplined him and Dave tried to salvage the situation.
He later talked with Drew to know the reason behind his actions but Drew claimed he was not addicted but he only did that out of peer pressure. Dave spoke to him and advised him against his act.
Fast forward, Dave managed to solve the workers salary issue after he learnt about it. This made Paco jealous because his father always acted on whatever Dave said. He believed his father saw Dave better than him. Cherry Red explained that both him and Dave were special in their own way and should not see himself inferior.
Dave was able to make up for his shortcomings. He obtained a license for Cherry Red to enable her to pursue her dream as a chef. As he was pleading with Cherry for not getting in touch with her when he left for school in Manila, Cherry saw her father Panyong who had already returned home.
She hugged her father and they went home. Cherry introduced Dave to him and Panyong thought Dave was her boyfriend but he explained that they were mere friends.

Panyong, later narrated his story to explain why he left years ago when Cherry was little but returned now. He narrated his ordeal after he was accused of stealing. Before his arrest, he fled to Oman and life has not been easy that was the reason he had returned for good.
Ebs had already informed him about the house Cherry inherited from Carol. He opened up to his daughter and told her that he knew Freddie and the Dairy Farm was even his idea.
Soon, Panyong went to see Freddie. There, it was revealed that Panyong was obtaining the land which Freddie had made a diary farm but the owner of the land had a misunderstanding with Panyong leading to a legal case. Until, the fire incident through which his wife lost her life.
Panyong also discovered from Freddie that his wife Carol d!ëd through a fatal accident. He then applied for a job as a security officer at the place. Elsewhere, Dave embraced his fears and opened up to Cherry about his feelings for her.
He gave her the necklace he bought. He in fact had kept the necklace with him for long since he noticed the k!$s between her and his brother but he could not hold on to his feelings anymore. Besides, lots of the ranch workers had been saying he looked good with Cherry.
The feeling was mutual so Cherry agreed to his proposal only for them to also find Paco ready with his bouquet to officially ask Cherry to be his girlfriend. However, they revealed their relationship to Paco and Paco fought his brother. He saw Dave as sëlfish and wanted everything.
One night when Panyong was on duty, he chanced on someone stealing and he identified the person as Drew. Drew reached an agreement with him not to tell anyone about what he saw and promised to tell his own father.
Panyong went home to fix a light for Ebs and he dropped something by mistake. The content in the box fell so he was placing them in when he saw a letter in an envelope. He read the letter and it was revealed that it was a letter written by Carol to explain why she left her farm house to Cherry.
Carol exposed her husband’s misdeed of intentionally setting a property of the land that Panyong was fighting to gain ablaze to make Panyong vacate the place for Freddie to get to buy for the dairy farm, resulting in the death of his wife.

Panyong got furious and stormed the house. However, his presence made Drew think that he wanted to eat him out to his father. They exchanged words and Drew had an episode. He hit the head of Panyong with stone and continued with his actions until Panyong d!ëd. He then snapped out of it and realised his crime.
He rushed in and informed Dave about his deeds. Dave advised him to turn himself in but he failed and ran out. Dave was running out when he chanced upon the body to realise the person Drew k!lled was no other than Cherry’s father.
He was really affected since Cherry was his girlfriend. He went in his car to chase after Drew and found him. Elsewhere, Cherry met with Paco and was able to talk to him to understand why she chose Dave. Paco promised to go for her if Dave ever hurt her.
