Amerado reveals reason he declined Barima Sidney’s feature
Rapper turned singer Amerado Burner has finally revealed that he rejected the feature of Hiplife musician Barima Sidney because he couldn’t resonate with the track.
Not long ago, Barima Sidney released a new track which he wanted to have the voice of Amerado on but the rapper declined his request.
Speaking in a recent interview, Amerado explained that he did not get inspiration when he received the track from Barima Sidney so he declined that offer, opting for a remix feature of another track of Sidney.
“Barima Sidney sent me a song, I loved it. I spoke with my team and I believed the song was not one that I could really deliver well on so I requested for a remix of one of his monster hits but that couldn’t happen too,” he noted.
Amerado further indicated that he did not decline the collaboration out of malice but out of creative limitations, adding, that he recently worked on the remix feature of Joyce Blessing’s new song “Overdo.”
According to him, he could vibe with the track and would be glad to do a song with Barima Sidney considering his achievements in the industry provided he resonates with the song.
“I’ve seen a couple of interviews where the legendary Barima Sidney has been talking about the fact that I ignored a feature. He should take it easy on me because who wouldn’t want to work with Sidney but sometimes maybe we will work on a song that I can really deliver on,” he said.
Not long ago, Amerado got featured on a song by Shatta Wale titled “Blessings” and also has songs with artistes like Sista Afia, Rap Fada, and King Paluta, among others.
In the meantime, Amerado is out with a new EP titled “The Gold Coin.”
