Batang Quiapo: Andrea Brillantes takes a daring role with Jake Cuenca
Budding actress Andrea Brillantes has transitioned from teen roles toward portraying mature roles for “Batang Quiapo,” with its international title “Gang of Manila.”
She is featured in a k¡ss¡ñg scene with fellow actor Jake Cuenca.

A sneak peek into the actress’ role in the Coco Martin-led TV series was shown by ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment via a video released on its Facebook page on Friday, February 28.
In the clip, Brillantes is first seen at a restaurant along with her accomplices during their apparent modus operandi.
In a separate scene, Brillantes, wearing a red lingerie dress, enters the bathroom and walks toward Cuenca who is in a tub.
The pair then shared an intense k¡ss, with the actor slowly taking off her dress and kissing her neck.
Aside from Brillantes and Cuenca, other new cast members introduced in the teaser were Albert Martinez, Angel Aquino, Michael De Mesa, Celia Rodriguez, Chanda Romero, Shamaine Buencamino and Dante Rivero, among others.
Brillantes earlier spoke about how her “Batang Quiapo” role is different from her previous roles in the TV series “Senior High” and its sequel “High Street.”

“We have this thing that when you play mature roles, it’s like daring, sé×y. It’s more of like, for me, leveling up because the people I’m with are really big veterans,” she said.
The new cast members will appear in the TV series starting on Monday, March 3.
