Betrayal (Halik) Episode 65 Mauro attempts to kill himself
At Dos Disenyos, Barry told Lino that he lost to Jacky. He told Lino that he used wrong approach to confront Jacky. Lino accepted his mistake.
He wondered what has gotten into Lino for him to change his attitude totally the moment he heard Jacky went out with Yohann.
Lino said everything was in a mess at home and to top it all he crashed with Ace at the meeting and almost cost a scene and asked Barry what would he have done if he was in his shoes.
Barry told him that it was not enough for him to take it out on Jacky. He asked him to apologise to Jacky.
Jacky got in with a drink and Lino asked her why she was still at work and told her she did not have to work overtime but Jacky said she got to work late and had to finish off all her work.
Lino apologised to her for his earlier action. Jacky accepted and told him that he was being grumpy.
Lino asked Jacky whether she was happy with Yohan and she said her problems disappear and lose track of time when she is with him.
Lino said he was happy for her and wished her good luck, adding that he was with her on her decision to roll with someone new.
Lino got home and Jade was setting food on the table. Lino asked of his mother and she said she did not know where she went.
Lino asked the person who cooked the food and she said she cooked it. He doubted and she explained that she learnt how to cook at Myrna, Marissa’s aunty’s house since she was helping her run a cafeteria.
She wanted to take Lino’s bag and he said he got it. Jade apologised for her short comings as a wife and pleaded for a second chance to make it up to him.
“Please allow me to be a good mother to our child and a good wife to you again please Lino.”
“Jade i will be very honest with you, we are done it is too late for that. If you still hoping that we will get back together that won’t happen. We are through, it is good to know that you want to change for our child do that but Jade after you’ve given birth you will have to leave this house.”
Lino left her while she sobbed.
The Corpuzes had grand launch at Montecorp, Mauro called Paeng and asked him why he was not updating him about the development of Montecorp.
Paeng told him not to think about anything at Montecorp and advised him to concentrate on his recovery.
As the Dos Disenyos workers learnt about the new development in Montecorp. They worried that Aliyah could be a next victim.
The Dos Disenyos executives held a meeting to come up with a strategy to meet the competition on the market.
Yohann came to search for Jacky to remind her of their dinner. Lino still looked jealous while Barry realised that he was jealous.
Barry asked if Lino had problem with Yohann after his constant stare. Jacky went to check on Mauro and Nanny told her that Mauro had a breakdown.
Mauro told Jacky that anytime he saw her face he felt st*p*d that he allowed them to conspire against him.
Mauro said if Montecorp was taken away from him he would kill himself. Jacky pleaded with him not to kill himself, he screamed and Yohan heard his voice and rushed upstairs.
He saw Mauro brandishing a gun, while he blamed Jacky for allowing the Corpuzes to take over his company.
Jacky said sorry to him and pledged her support to help him gain his company back.
Ken went to Dos Disenyos in search of Jacky. He said his battery died and Lino offered to give him his phone for him to call Jacky.
Ken revealed that he got a ticket to a concert and Barry decided to go with Ken to witness Baste’s favourite singer and dancer.
Mauro slept, Jacky explained to Yohann how devastated Mauro had been after he was bed ridden. She promised to help her father get back to Montecorp since she did not trust her ex.
Gio and Maggie met and she asked if he was upset with her and he said he heed to her advice and remained in Manila.
Maggie received a message from Dolor that she should not keep long. Gio decided to go with her to the house and ordered some food.
Ace called Aliyah to thank her and they planned to meet later.
Marissa came to visit Jade. She offered Marissa a drink. She told Marissa that Lino was acting cold towards her and was finding it hard to stay with Lino.
She told Marissa that what hurt the most was that she was not given a second chance to prove to Lino how she had changed.
Lino met with his architect and saw the picture of the house. He also gave orders on some changes he wanted. He received a call from Jade and he said he was at a meeting.
Jade asked him to join them for dinner since she and Dolor prepared food. He asked her to pass the phone to his mom and he revealed to Dolor that he was with the architect and had seen pictures of the progress of his house.
He said he would make the architect build a porch and a personal bath house only for her in her room in order for her not to share with anyone.
Dolor pleaded with him to keep the house simple, she did not want it to be expensive. Jade eavesdrop. Dolor passed the phone to Jade and Lino cut the line once he heard Jade’s voice.
In a restaurant, Yohann and Jacky saw Ace and Aliyah. Jacky went close to them and warned Ace against doing anything bad against her dad. Aliyah brush it off.
“So scary what a force to reckon with!” Aliyah spewed.
