Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 578 Padua orders for Teddy to be kidnapped, Alyana makes Bubbles vow to keep her secret with Lito hidden
Mariano delivered his speech on behalf of President Hidalgo and called for justice since he woke up to discover that Cardo and his band of taskforce rescued Delfin and kidnapped Arturo’s daughter. He said Cardo was on the wanted lists.
Flora was not happy that the president was projecting her grandson as criminal and Yolly suggested they should find a way to talk to him. Yolly was of the view that the president was doing much better but Flora did not see that.
Elsewhere, Diana also saw something odd about the president while he was delivering his speech on the national television. Virgie believed because he just recovered that was the reason he was looking odd but to her he was perfectly fine.
After his speech many journalists asked him questions but Arturo was the one who answered them. Teddy also asked the president about the rumours that Cardo only fled with his band because their lives were in danger. Padua indicated that Oscar was not well abreast with events around him since he was recuperating.
He said Cardo was not pursued by anyone, he fled with his grandfather who was in the hands of the police after k!lling witnesses in the case of his grandfather. He also answered one journalist who asked if Cardo had demanded for ransom and he said no.
Hipolito was impressed by Mariano’s delivery and had no doubts that Lily would rely on him forever. He told Jacob that he would win Lily over till he got control over her. James approached Teddy after the press conference and he told Teddy that he and the maids would secure means to talk to the president.
Teddy told him not to be seen by him because that would raise suspicions. When Teddy was leaving, he bumped into the palace servants. They said they were not happy with what the president said so they would talk to the president to make him see that Cardo was not the enemy.
Lily sent Mariano to his room to commend him for perfect delivery and even promised to increase his pay if he was able to keep the excellent delivery. Teddy arrived home and his wife was not happy that he asked too many questions. Teddy told Diana that what was his problem was Padua being the one answering the questions.
Diana said she noticed something off about the president. Cardo saw that Alyana had kept long and he called her. She was with Lito so Lito excused himself to enable Alyana to talk to her husband. Alyana told Cardo to go home as she had a meeting and Salvador would drive she and Bubbles home.
Clarice went to shower and was upset that she smelt like the animals. She was however, happy that she was able to win the hearts of her abductors and planned to keep on with the act till she got what she wanted. Padua told Lily that Teddy spoiled his day because his questions were crafted in such a way that meant that he was insinuating something.
He had no qualms that Teddy was fully aware of where Cardo was. Bubbles arrived with the minute of the meeting but Lito told her to put it aside. She had thought that he urgently needed it. Alyana told Bubbles she would go through first. Lito decided to drive Alyana home instead of Salvador.
Hipolito spoke with Lily over the phone concerning the excellent job Mariano did. He also told her about plans of scouting the entire city to get a spot for their illegal business. Clarice was grateful to Maring for teaching her how to cook. She told her that her stepmom did not teach her how to cook since she was always busy with family businesses.
She sadly said she had missed her family and that struck Patrick. Maring told her that she would teach her how to cook so that she could cook for her family once she went home. The guys arrived home to discover that Clarice had been behaving well and had helped Maring with cooking. The guys eat and Cardo who came late was wondering where his wife was.
He refused to eat in order to wait for her. Delfin told him that he talked to Flora and the family was worried about him. He made up his mind to call her the following day. As Lito was driving Alyana and Bubbles home, he reminded Alyana about the road that it was the road they used to travel on when going to school.
Bubbles learnt from Lito that Alyana and him were inseparable. As Virgie was really worried about the safety of her family due to Teddy’s actions, Padua called his goons to monitor Teddy and even told them to kidnap him. Alyana arrived home in the escort of Lito. He walked Alyana and Bubbles to the gate but failed to go in.
He gave Alyana food to be given to Cardo. As she was walking with Bubbles, Alyana made Bubbles promise not to tell Cardo about the conversations Lito had with them. She swore that there was nothing going on between her and Lito. Bubbles promised to get her mouth sealed.
Hipolito called his chemist to offer a special deal to him. Alyana and Bubbles finally arrived home and Cardo said he was even on his way to find them because they had kept long.
Bubbles left to join her gummy bear while Cardo told Alyana that he had not yet had dinner. He was waiting for them to have dinner together.
