Delfin was glad that Dele Fuente woke up early to notice Patrick and Clarice’s escape, otherwise, they would have been in serious trouble. Cardo wondered what was going through Patrick’s head to have allowed Clarice to manipulate him. Delfin took solace in the fact that Patrick regretted his action.
In the Palace, Elizabeth still noticed that there was something off about the President. She told Ambo they needed to get closer to him to know his health status so that they could report what Lily did to them if he was doing fine.

Cardo told Alyana that he never knew Clarice was cunning and blamed himself for believing in her. Oscar was regaining consciousness and was fighting himself to gain the strength to fight for his nation. Meanwhile, Lily came to ridicule him.
Lito came to find Alyana at the office and covered her eyes for Alyana to guess who he was. She later got it right. Lito put a diamond necklace on her neck and threw away her wedding ring and gave her an expensive ring.
He stepped out with her and they went sight seeing at the ranch. They recalled happy memories when they ran after each other. Alyana had always been faster but this time around, Lito was faster to have caught her when they started the “catch me, if you can play.”
They headed inside and Alyana still couldn’t believe that Lito had made it in life while when they were young, he did not want to even take a chance and go to Manila. Lito said he was inspired by Alyana and wanted them to be how they were before. He caressed Alyana and she laid her head on his chest, enjoying the warmth of Lito.

She woke up so happily, unfortunately, she found herself on the chest of Cardo and was not pleased. Cardo also woke up and told her they should prepare for work. Alyana requested to remain in her bed to think for a while. Cardo decided to prepare breakfast and prepare her clothes but Alyana told him not to bother about the clothes.
Alyana later, went to see Bubbles to request for the clothes that Lito bought her which she gave to Bubbles to keep. Cardo joined his comrades to find them having breakfast. They asked him what they would do to Clarice. Cardo said Espinoza and Dela Fuente would take care of her.
He still had that trust in them and urged the rest of his comrades to also give Espinoza a chance. Delfin and Ramil supported Cardo. As Lily told Mariano to always stay at the office of Oscar and also know he was the President once he stepped out of his room, they stumbled on Arturo and his wife.
Ellen dressed so special, making Lily wonder where she and her husband were going but realised she just likes to dress. However, she put on that dress to entice the President. Lily confirmed that she was looking like the first lady and if she did not know her, she would have felt jealous.
Alyana felt so excited while thinking about Lito while bathing. She kept thinking about Lito and was impatient to see him that day. She dressed and looked so excited. Lito at the ranch made orders for Salvador to check up on the new workers at the stables.
Turo went to order and used force to get Macoy to work. Macoy could not wait to get out of the ranch. He was optimistic that his savings would reach the desired amount soon for him to go to Manila to school. He swore to take revenge on Turo when he became a cop.
Lito and his lackeys were discussing their shoddy business when Macoy spotted them. In Manila Hipolito planned ahead with Jacob on means they could take advantage of Juan’s deàth to push through with their act. Alyana joined Cardo and his comrades and Greco was surprised to see Alyana in that fancy revealing attire.

Meanwhile, Virgie was keen on Diana to stop that vigilante lifestyle and live a peaceful life. Diana said they could not sit back peacefully to watch some individuals ruin their country.
Alyana lost her appetite and gave Cardo attitude. Cardo and Delfin went to the washroom where they had tied Clarice to serve her breakfast. Clarice pleaded with them to have mercy upon her and to set her free. Cardo admitted they were aware of her qualms but they had to do that to stop her from escaping.
Cardo gave her the food but since her hands were tied, Cardo spoonfed her. She claimed the food was not delicious and didn’t eat it. Cardo left her to go hungry and locked her up to go to work.
Hipolito spoke with Mr Carabara, his business partner and they decided to meet so they fixed the date for it. He then told Jacob how filthy rich they would be now that everything was going in their favour.
