Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 654 Hipolito makes Oscar his captive, Diana explains to Lia how the Taskforce became enemy to the state
In the mansion of the Mantes, Diana apologised for resorting into threats. She pleaded with Amelia to attend to Delfin. Basco carried Roxanne and the rest carried the rest of their injured comrades for the doctor to treat them.
Hipolito rushed into Oscar’s room but Augustus tried to stop him. Renato threatened him and made his guards held Augustus aback. He went in to see Oscar to update him. He said he was now running the country and it wouldn’t be long that he would reign.
He made it clear that he was the one who found his body double and supplied Lily with the drugs that they had been injecting him with and now he would put an end to everything to rule. His worst nightmare would come to pass in a few months to come. He would become the President and would ensure everyone would forget about Oscar.
He would not even step down, when his tenure was up and if he ever felt like doing so, he would make someone he could control takeover but would continue to rule as long as he lived.
He ordered his guard to replace the guards who were guarding Oscar to refrain Lily from going closer to the president. Audrey suggested to her mother that their patients needed to be transferred to a more comfortable place for them to take care of them.
Amelia wondered where they would send them. Fernando was still against his wife’s decision to help the fugitives. Lia suggested a store room where they could make the fugitives stay. She pleaded with her father to trust her that Cardo and his comrades would not hurt any of them.
The man said Cardo and his group had to be in prison for even holding them hostage in their own house. Audrey asked if his conscience would be able to bear leaving those fugitives out there. Oscar struggled and finally woke up in his bid to gather his strength to save the country from the rule of those wicked outlaws.
Lily arrived at the palace, feeling happy for the ace she had under her sleeves until she heard from Augustus that Hipolito had taken control over Oscar. Lily got upset with Augustus for his inability to secure Oscar as she ordered. She slapped him and rushed to see Renato to demand him to give her back Oscar for her to control him since he was her captive first.
Hipolito said the one who was the president was the one to control Oscar. Lily hinted at having something against him but Hipolito wondered what it was. Lily reminded him of backstabbing her to transact drug business worth 10 billion which went South. That, she said had made Hipolito a laughing stock.
Hipolito assured that he would recover from it. Lily insisted on getting Oscar and threatened Renato. She attempted to slap Renato and Renato caught her hand and warned her that he was not Mariano. Lily left to call Lito for them to initiate plans to bring down Renato.
Renato also received a call from Enrique, telling him about how Lito was saved by some group of armed men. Hipolito explained that he was not the one protecting Lito. Turo saw his boss as a sly one for gaining the First lady’s support. Lito made it clear that Lily was only using him against Renato so they had to watch out for themselves.
He believed that after Lara’s deàth, there would be nobody to be a trusted ally. After Amelia told Cardo’s group about her decision to make them occupy a store in their warehouse since their house was small to contain all of them. Lia followed Cardo out to apologise for her father’s behavior and also apologised for k!//ing Alyana.
Cardo indicated that helping him did not mean he would forgive her for k!lling his wife. Renato bumped into Arturo at the palace and the Executive Secretary used that opportunity to congratulate him for his appointment as the Special Advisor.
Renato had a private talk with him to inform him that he recently had a bloody encounter with Ricardo Dalisay so Arturo should be on his side if he only wanted his sweet revenge. Diana apologised to the Mantes for the trouble caused. They evacuated their friends to the store room.
Ramil told his group that they could not stay there for long. Basco interjected that their friends were still not feeling well. Cardo angrily said the Manager was right because they were in their enemies’ lair. The group agreed that they had to ensure their comrades were fine before leaving the place.
They decided to eat but there was no plate so Lia went to get them plates and Diana decided to help her. As they were packing the plates, Diana thanked her for helping them and told her that she would go with her to thank her parents for their help. Lia wondered why they ended up like that since she did an investigation about them and they were renowned public officials.
Diana explained that they were like Lia and the Black Ops doing their jobs until Lily destroyed everything. She explained that Lily was into the drug business and recalled when Lily sent her foster daughter to transact the business and she saw her and fought her till she fell off the building. Lily then had a fight with her and her husband, Oscar fired her.
Diana explained that Lily and Arturo were working in cohorts. Lia was surprised since Arturo was the exact person who gave them the assignment to find their daughter. In the palace Hipolito spoke with Ellen and told her that he told her husband to be on their side. He asked Ellen about Cassandra and Ellen said she never liked Cassandra.
Hipolito told her to believe in her instincts as he suspected that Lily sent Cassandra into the palace to be a spy. He gave her an assignment to investigate Cassandra. Ellen went to her husband’s office and saw a paper which read that the person knew she was having an affair with Mariano.
Ellen suddenly got shaken and her husband wondered about her problem. She lied to him and stepped out to check who threw the paper. She saw no one. Unbeknownst, Cassandra was spying on her and saw how frightened she was.
When Ellen went back to her husband’s office, Cassandra sent her to the edge by sending her picture of the expensive bracelet which she lost in Mariano’s office during their first intimate encounter. She got scared and lied to her husband that she received a message that her credit card had to be renewed and rushed out, much to Arturo’s surprise.
