Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 690 Delfin is held hostage to trap Cardo and the Taskforce, Oscar feared to return to where he grew up
Armando and his group arrived home together with the Taskforce. As Mara was treating the wounds of Lolita, Armando ordered Samuel to bring some medicines for the injured civilian they held hostage.
Samuel didn’t want to obey Armando’s words but Armando yelled at him. Samuel went for the medicine and Armando went there. Samuel protested against Armando’s decision. Armando described him as heartless and reminded him that they had been in Cardo’s situation before.

He strangled Samuel and asked him if he did not pity Cardo and his group and warned him that his decision could never be violated, besides, he knew what he was doing.
At the hospital, Lucia was informed that Don Ignacio was in a critical condition and his chances of being alive were slim. Lucia cried and wished the doctor could do everything to make Don Ignacio survive since to her, the old man was a good person and deserved to live.
Omar was in pain and Greco said it was their fault that the civilians d!ëd and they did the right thing to extend a helping hand to Omar. Samuel came with the medicines and he shoved it to Cardo’s group.
Ramil found Samuel’s act so annoying and his friends stopped from causing trouble since they were in need now and had to cope in order to gain shelter.
Lolita was glad that finally they had gained the justice that they wanted by k!lling Don Ignacio. She was proud of Mara. She said she would have d!ëd as a proud person seeing Don Ignacio deàd. Armando got in and Mara stepped out. His wife asked why he wanted Cardo to stay in their mansion.
Armando urged his wife to trust him because Cardo had a huge bounty on his head and it was right for him to accommodate him and his group. He maintained that he knew what he was doing and his wife should trust him on that.
Omar after being treated was recovering when Armando ordered Lucas to send him to a room for him to get better. Mara spoke to his brother and was against his decision about allowing Cardo and his group to stay. She was afraid that the former cops would turn against them.
Armando said it was the reason he had allowed them to be an ally. Omar woke up and wondered where he was. Lucas told him he was in the North, Armando’s house. Omar was forced to rise but Espinoza stopped him. He advised him to sleep to get over the pains of his wounds.

Samuel saw Mara standing alone and she was thinking. He approached her and found out that she was scared of their truth being exposed with the presence of Cardo and his group. She said she warned Armando but her father was not ready to listen.
Samuel said he told Armando the same thing but he urged Mara to keep talking to her father. When they arrived in Manila, Mariano sent Cassandra to his mansion. Lily wanted to talk to Cassandra privately but Mariano didn’t want to allow it. Cassandra was able to convince Mariano to allow her to talk to Lily.
Lily told Cassandra that she had not won Mariano’s trust yet. Cassandra believed Mariano was her pulpit right now since he was now into Mariano Jr. Lily claimed so long as Ellen was there, it would be hard for her to win over Mariano. As Mariano was waiting, he saw Ellen and was about to con her when Ellen slapped him for abandoning her.
Lily came out and told Mariano that his days as President were numbered and he could only be in government if he aligned with her to endorse her.
Mariano feared that Lily would dispose of him. Lily tried to shift tables against Hipolito but Mariano knew she would rather do that to him.
Aurora wept over her past life. She cried over the reason 20 years ago she traveled to the United States. As she was crying, Lucia called Aurora to beg her to return home due to her father’s condition. However, Aurora didn’t want to return due to the wickedness of Don Ignacio.

Oscar could only think of one place, where he grew up from. No one knew about it so there would be no one to look for them there. Oscar wanted to embrace his fears to overcome the terrible past he had at the place for the sake of Elizabeth and Ambo.
Cardo talked to his grandpa and Delfin assured that he was fine at where he was. He told Cardo that he overheard his encounter with the police. Cardo admitted and said he and the group were okay as they had someone to help them so they were currently at the person’s place.
Delfin told him to meet up with him the next day at his friends’ place to stay there. Unbeknownst , Delfin was beaten and blood was oozing from his face. His friends compelled him to call Cardo and used Delfin to trap his grandnephew.
Cardo informed his group and James saw that as not needed at the moment since they were safe at Armando’s place. Besides, they had run out of armour and stepping out would endanger their lives.
Armando agreed with James and told Cardo to stay in his mansion. However, Cardo apologised and told him that they would leave to be with his grandpa. Cardo thought about Armando and was indebted to him for saving his life because he might not have known what would happen to him, if Armando had not intervened.
He wished there would be a day that he would equally help him. Mara was still in cloud nine to finish off Don Ignacio. She wished they could now go back to their normal lives and live as simple as they used to.
However, the presence of Cardo, she believed would have a dire effect on her group as they might be caught up on Cardo’s mess.
